  1. Chris, would you please get word to Colton to order 5 of them. I was wondering if yall were going to do that again this year and Colton hasn't mentioned it. Thanks!
  2. Sorry- I jumped from the Senior post to this one, so lets discuss keeping their undefeated seasons. First off, I would NEVER jump on or attack any kid. When I stated "Did Colton lose the game for you and that you guys went on that field as a team" I meant everyone of us. As a fan I feel we are just as much part of the JBHS team as anyone---we have our job to cheer on and support the other half of the team. So, please don't read into it what you want it to say to benefit you! Me like so many others on here don't want to argue with anyone, but I'm not going to sit back and let some of these players be talked about like this. Tell me what are Blake's weakness? You've pointed out everyone else's. All I'm saying is that if you wanted to give advise to the team or these players you should have done it before the season was over---when it would have counted! As for Orlando, yes he is a good player and will get better with time. Is he faster than Colton, yes! To say he is better that Colton at this time is crazy! Can he be better than Colton, I hope so because that would make for a better team next year. Do I hope he breaks the records Colton has broke at JBHS, yes because hopefully that means we are still winning games. Yes, Colton is my son and I'm VERY proud of him. He has done what alot of folks, including myself, didn't think he could do and that was make big plays with his size. He and Parker have both done this and I'm very proud of them and very sorry that I let it cross my mind that they were to small to get the job done. It doesn't matter your size--big, little, skinny or fat--if you have it in your heart thats what counts. I'm very proud of what all these guys have done for themselves, the coaches, the school, the fans and the community. I hope all the younger guys step up and play better than the guys this year and keep winning games! As far as the Tramont issue---for you to get on here and call any kid lazy is out of line! If you feel Tramont should push himself to do better, pull him to the side and tell him so. Encourage him ---- don't call him out on a site where hundreds of people are reading it. You made the comment that I jumped a kid, what do you call what you did to Tramont? All these guys have played hard and worked hard or they wouldn't have gotten as far as they did, including Blake!
  3. Prayers from the Jo Byrns Family!
  4. i counted 4 times in the mtp game that if orlando would have been running the ball instead of colton it would have been touchdowns. all 4 times colton got caught. CPR4U are you saying Colton lost the game for you? You guys went on that field as a team, played as a team, lost as a team and walked off that field as a team. It is not Tramont's, Shane's, Colton's, etc. fault-- your team lost to a good team--peroid. This page was set up for everyone to get on and say thanks to the seniors for another great year and you have made a mess of it. This season is over for the seniors so why start dis them now. If you had something to say about the way some were playing you should have spoke about it during the season. There is nothing they can do now to change the way they played ball and I for one didn't see anything wrong with it. The whole team was great, but for one last time we want to let our seniors know how proud we are of them and how much they will be missed. So why don't everyone say something nice to our WONDERFUL seniors or just be quite! I love all you guys and I'm going to miss you so much. Keep straight and know that lots of folks in Adam/Cedar Hill love you! Coach Tom keep up the great work!
  5. Thank you Tuck! I can't believe someone would get on here and talk about their own team this way.
  6. Ok-I know this is a football topic page, but I know our girls keep up with what's going on or being said about our boys so just a quick note to them. THANK YOU for such a wonderful year! You girls have been great this year and I've really enjoyed being a part of your cheering squad--ha ha! I will shout one more time for this football season "GO DEVILS"!
  7. You guys are the greatest! I can't put into words what this senior class has meant to me----YOUR BIGGEST MOM FAN! I'm so very proud of my son, #34, for playing his best all the time and giving 110%. Your Jr. Pro, Jr. High and High School years have been a blast and I will miss seeing you out on that field. You might have to ask Coach Adkins if I can keep your uniform to keep washing--this last washing thing has kinda been hard on your ole mom! With that said I will miss all of you. Parker you have hands like glue--the catches you made had us all giving high fives in the stands! You have been one that is close to my heart, your such a great young man. Tuck & Hankins you guys just blowed us away, man I love to see a hard hitting game. Of course some of you hear it from me all the time, "play fair, keep your heads on straight but hit hard. Glen, man you have really come around and we have enjoy seeing you, our quite guy, make some GREAT plays! My Big Baby Boy, you know who you are, I'm so very proud of the young man you have become. I can remember Mr. Lynn having to hunt you down for Jr. Pro and look where you made it. Keith, you are like my 4th son. I've enjoyed seeing you play this year and getting to know you better. Whoopie, man you know your my 3rd son and I'm so proud of you! You have climb alot of mountains over the past year along with alot of your friends playing this wonderful game of football with you. Know that your dad is a vey proud man of all you today! He helped get you guys started and believe me when I tell you he was with you guys til the end Friday night. You are all very special young men, so before you leave make sure the juniors know how important it is to be a leader for next year's team because all you have been great at it. For my #17, you play hard next year and we will be right there in the stand doing our thing for you the next 3 years! Go RED DEVILS!
