good point about Sain and Epperson not being focused for the game against Gleason, that could be why they didnt look great to me. That would be bad coaching to not have your team up for everyone you play. Sain and Epperson did play more than 7-8 minutes of the game, they played at least 5 or 6 in the 4th Q alone and most, if not all the 1st Q. Now if you are saying that is all they played, then again I respond they arent impressive, since the 2nd and 3rd Q is when Gleason was put away. Union City beat us effortlessly, and Lake County looked like an And1 team (hitting 3's from sick range), to me Humboldt isntey as good as the others. They may have had a bad game, that happens, may have a bad coach, or may be mad cause Gleason girls beat their girls. I dont know. As far as teams we have played, Humboldt actually would be 4th. West Carroll beat us worse, and cleared their bench the whole 4th Q. But we are a better team now than we were against West Carroll. LOL maybe we scared Humboldt into putting them starters back in.

Yes I was at the game, guess I just expected more from Sain and Epperson. Sometimes hype is just that - hype. They are good, just not great. They didnt impress me during the game with Gleason. Union City and Lake County were way more impressive to me. Can Gleason beat any of those three? No, we havent beaten anyone in the district yet, but you can still compare the teams you have played

No way Humboldt beats Union City. Why can someone from Gleason not say someone is overrated or comment on missed dunks? Sain and Epperson did play alot in the game, they were still in during the 4th Q I think Humboldt may think they are a little bit better than they actually are, a great team would be undefeated or with only 1 close loss.

I wasnt complaining red, like I said if we dont want em scoring - we gotta stop em. I dont think the Gleason girls ran up the score on your girls or they would have beaten them by 100. Humboldt boys are not as good as Union City at all, and probably not as good as Lake County from what I have seen. I thought Sain and Epperson were overrated. How many dunks did they miss? The only one they got was on bench player at the end of the game. I feel like they kept the starters in to keep the score up cause our freshmen could score on their backups and they didnt want UC or LC's margin being that much better. I enjoy watching the good teams play, even when they kill us. I love good basketball. I actually was looking forward to the Humboldt game because I like an inside game better than the outside game, but was disappointed with the Vikes. Now they may have had a bad game and impress me next game, but Lake and Union City didnt have to keep their top 5 in to keep the score up.

Humboldt didnt beat Gleason as bad as Union City did, and they had Sain and Epperson playing in the 4th quarter against our freshmen end of the bench players. At least Union City only has 10 players on their squad, so i dont feel they tried to run up the score on Gleason. I do think Humboldt tried to. Gleason competed with them in the first quarter and was only down by 5, so they tried to show us up after we had already conceded, trying to slam on our young guys. If thats how they want to play, so be it. It is our job to slow em down so I am not whining about it. Our girls did take it easy on their girls though, and didnt play our starters until the end like the Vikes did. Lake County is real good, but they called off the dogs on us and it was more like a scrimmage game for them. Gleason has a good first year coach and a young team that is getting better. After watching all 3 of the big 3 play, i rank em 1. Union City 2. Lake County 3. Humboldt. I do think Lake can play with Union City. Humboldt didnt impress me. Gleason will be better next year and should compete for district year after next. We have talent in our Sophmore and Freshman class.

Lake County is good, but not as good as Union City. I do think they are probably the 2nd best team. Humboldt didnt impress me as much as LC did.
