Thanks McEwenAlumni. I was a huge McEwen fan last year in the State Tournament because you were 10A. I hope we get this Monday and represent 10A in State well. If we do win it will be the fourth time in four years that 10A is in the show. I hear we are going to have to roll the bleachers on second floor out due to anticipated crowd. We will get a lot of support from BDP for one night. That being the mighty white house blue devils a school WHH supports except when we play them and visa versa. The kids from both schools have grown up together and are by in large great friends.

I agree the District was down as a whole, but when this WHH team plays to it's potential they are way better than last years addition. Let's be honest the only teams worth anything last year were McEwen and WHH with McEwen a little better. To the JB guy on this site, please remember this years barely over 500 team because in the coming years JB Boys teams are going to wish they had a record that even closely resembles your girls team this year.

Well stated Cleggy. Hope Tyler is ok we need him. All these McEwen people downing WHH this year make me sick. This the best team we have had. Yes we have had better BB players in Slagle (03-07) and Beadwell but not a more unselfish team.

WHH wins 10A in a very good game with NC.

JB in good position if they win tonight to have best Regional matchup. The 3rd place team in 10A gets Eagleville who lost earlier in year to LEAD Academy. 2nd place team gets next best matchup in Community a below 500 team.

WHH won against a very good team in JB tonight to make the second championship in a row. I would not want to be the team in 9A that has to play JB in the regional tournament.

WHH has beat two 9AA teams this year by 11 & 23. Should be a good game with Greenbrier either team can win. If WHH does win they will match White House District win total. I cheer for White House when they don't play WHH, why the hate on WHH I wonder.

Now that's funny

The Freshman had to get a medical clearance. She is considered one of the best strikers her age in TN soccer. She plays the 4 position primarily and should give WHH quality minutes and she was a beast in Middle School. I really love what a good job the WHH girls coach has done this year, they have really improved. It is not uncommon to see just freshman and sophomores on the floor at same time during critical situations and come through. This is a big game for the girls but it is also a big game for boys. If boys win they are outright regular season District Champs and if they lose they are Co-Champs.

Yes they did with their point guard out sick. Finally the real athletic Freshman was cleared to play. She is really going to help during tournament time.

WHH over Jo Byrns with a 3 with 1.2 seconds left in game. By far the worst refs I have ever seen.

WHH big tonight over East. Only allowed 23 points. WHH defense is playing real well lately. The bigs are really stepping up their game.

WHH 51- JB 43. Shock of night is East losing to Merrol Hyde by 15.

Heard JJ #42 of NC got two technicals against White House last night. Guess that means he will not be available for Heritage due to mandatory two game suspension.

Heritage 45-39. Never felt Heritage was not going to win, but I will say LEAD has gotten a lot better. Glad to get them out of way. They are no longer just playing 2-3. They are now playing trap defenses, press really well, are extremely fast. They are shooting better. Say all this to say everyone who hasn't played them yet, bring your A game because they will upset some people.

Heritage beat HC by 28 and their starters did not play much. If you been a witness to this District long you would realize that playing at HC is a lot harder than playing at home. Heritage is going to be fine.

Just found out they don't play until Saturday.
