ive got to give maryville credit, came out with great intensity their guards gave l.c.s little guards trouble, you have to admit if you were there that maryville played the best they could play l.c. didnt look ready,didnt play well the big guy for maryville played the best he ever has, ive seen him for two years now he has never played that good,got to give them credit great game l.c. finished season only loss to maryville you all ought to feel good about that, no one else can say that during the regular season,should be some exciting b-ball games in future.

call cleveland you'll see a real good freshman team, the best i've ever seen..

i have seen these freshman of L.C. play they were out played up and down the floor hood was o.k. but they made him look like a freshman. maybe we need to consider letting these guys practice against the best players in practice instead of against the l.c. girls team they might get a little more tougher.they played hard but they were out physicalled in the paint and perimeter.cleveland is very well coached and well conditioned!!!!!!!!!!!!1

The Lenoir City freshmen prove again it isn't about size it's about heart and alot of hard work. Ballard was healthy this time around, but Ballard is one person and one person doesn't makeup a team. If Lenoir City had any dought about loosing that game they would have asked Hood to play with them since he is a freshmen but they knew they could take care of business on their own even with a healthy Ballard. It will be interesting to watch these two teams over the next 3 years. I hope this proves to alot of people that the Lenoir City freshmen team is not full of themselves, they don't think they are "THE BEST" they just really HATE to lose and they proved that last night with a come from behing win 50-47. WB looked alittle disappointed last night when #45 showed up I guess they thought if they changed the game time they would have a better chance of winning. One last thing please tell WB's coach not to EVER yell at a grandmother in the stands again. It's rude. First of all he should keep his comments to himself and his team and not invole the fans (it's just asking for trouble). Second, if he does yell at a fan at least make sure it's a man NOT a woman and especially not a grandmother, it's just RUDE and not right!

Lenoir City is set to take on Bearden Friday, Dec. 15th. Any thoughts?

not if they play like they did against heritage. hood isn't strong enough inside. he's tall and blocks some shots but heritage pushed him around all night. for lenoir city to beat bearden helton will have to be on and cusick will have to pick it up down low which i think he will. he had a pretty good defensive game against heritage. it is my understanding that lenoir city will also be playing without dylan robinson friday night i think that will hurt lenoir city down low. lenoir city can definately win this one but the question is... how bad do they want it?

i don't know what lenoir city's varsity will do tonight, but they have a tough act to follow. lenoir city's freshman team dominated heritage 69-20 they are now 6-0 against some really good teams. lenoir city freshman play maryville at home thursday night at 8:00 hope some of you come out and support the team. they could really use the support they have lost 2 players. Hood is now on varsity and they have another player who might be out the rest of the season. although they will have thomas back from a two game suspension. GO FRESHMAN PANTHERS!!!

we must be doin somethin right to be consider espn material. no really i know what you mean. lenoir city is a very young team. however i do feel they will be a team you want be able to ignore much longer. if they could get an inside game goin i really think their easily in the top three. i know you don't care so i'll stop there...

you've got to be kiddin me. that boy couldn't do a thing when he was in the game except lookin like he was tryn to do something. south doyle is a good team don't get me wrong but lenoir city wanted it more..... tell troy to make sure he makes it to those team meeting we wouldn't want him to miss the next game...

i really think lenoir city is coming along very well this season. they had a great win tonight against south doyle and they didn't even play that well. they are very well coached.
