Rossview has a nice team and really gives HC match-up problems...and Kenwood shot the fire out of the ball the night they played HC. HC didn't even really play that bad, but Kenwood just played really well. Hooper is giving the Pats what they need inside, but it's like the Patriots forgot how to score. They have gotten away from running offense in stretches and they have let people back into games because of it. Yes they have lost 5 in a row.(Clarksville, Springfield and 2 at the buzzer)... but no excuses...just time for a change!

PatFan20 analysis of HC's play to me in person was word for word what Red Dawn said in his/her post...that's why I assumed. I should have known that you just copied your analysis off of what someone else said...just like you always screen watch in HALO. Got him coach!

So Red Dawn...you would rather lose to Rossview so you can turn around and play them again 3 days later? That sounds much scarier to me especially because we would have just lost to Rossview--they would be confident. Also...next time wear HC colors when you support your team!

I don't know what kind of size White House has...but Beech has lost a lot of close games lately and I am sure they don't wanna drop this one! You can count on them coming out with a lot of desire tonight... Or... They may come out a little bit complacent because it is a non-district game against a team of a lesser class. If that happens then White House will run them. Beech isn't very cohesive right now from what I can tell.

Can one of you Oakland fans please tell me how LaVergne beat you? Not like I can't see it happening...but what did they do well? I saw them play the other night at Beech and even though they overcame an 11 point half time deficit to pull out a 4 point victory...they really didn't impress me all that much. Just wondering how they got to you

I like Lipscomb. They are a very gritty ball club. I wouldn't wanna face them in the post season.

NO Doubt! Springfield is legit! And people are crazy when they say this side of the region is weaker than the other side by a landslide. We are gonna battle it out amongst ourselves and then we are gonna take it to region 9! Should be some very interesting basketball over the next couple weeks!

I love how different sides of things can see things so differently. I was at the Clarksville game at Clarksville and when #11 "stepped OVER the player who was trying to get up"...the players got tangled and 11 got T-ed I thought it was really uncalled for and the referrees really jumped the gun. And if I was playing and I thought we had a legitimate shot at beating someone I would tell them I'd see them in the tournament too! I am having a hard time see how that is classless. But ok. If that is classless then I guess we should also point out the other players who were "classless" when they played... Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Isiah Thomas, LeBron James, John Stockton, Reggie Miller...just to name a few in my spare time. Classless? Give me a break!

Yes you are correct. If Springfield wins Friday and loses Saturday they would have three losses in the District. If Henry Co wins Friday and Saturday they also would have only 3 losses in the District, but they also play Rossview on Tuesday so they would have to win there as well. If Henry Co beats Springfield and wins all the other games, and Springfield wins all their games and looses to HC then they would hold the same record and would have their fates decided by a coin flip.

As it turns out there were a lot of good games in Nashville...some of which were the ones I highlighted... LaVernge beat Beech by 4 after being down 11 at halftime. This is the game I ended up at. Antioch pulled the upset on Whites Creek to give them their 3 loss of the year. I wish I could have seen that one, but the Beech LaVernge one turned out to be a good one.

Yeah I might would...but I think the Antioch game might be a real good one. Or as I was looking back--Ezell only lost to Lipscomb by 2 last meeting.

One thing..I love Jordan so please dn't misinterpret this as a bad thing...but Jordan was simply cut from his high school team as a sophomore, but he played JV, so it wasn't nearly as dramatic as everyone always wants to make it out to be....seriously that's the truth...look it up. 2nd...Mayo is a thug. 3rd...Gordon is unreal. 4th...My only concern about Durant is his strength...he has little or no muscle tone in his arms, that could end up being a problem until he develops it more....but as of right now he isn't having any problems that for sure. 5th...Is it me or is Greg Oden having a somehwat subpar year? I know he's been unhealthy, but still...

Yeah just as I was even writing this information down it felt like I was entering teams into "the pool" where anything could end up happening. Clarksville is the best team, but since Gallatin has beaten them and other teams played them decent games you can't for sure say unbeatable... I think, in agreement with everyone else, this could be a really really excited District and Regional tournament.
