  1. congratulations to mt juliet, they played a great tournament. i know demond craig was the tournament MVP, but who made the all-tournament team? there were a lot of great players there
  2. blackman beat brentwood by about 5. it was a close game throughout with each team pulling away at certain times. brentwood was up 2 with about 5 minutes left in the game then #21 for blackman hit a 3 and the next possession #3 got a 4 point play. blackman lead the rest of the game. for blackman 3 and 21 were their main scorers and played great games. for brentwood #50 got hot in the 2nd half and finished with a game high 18. i think blackman has a good shot at going to the championship

  4. tavares jefferson-ensworth daniel parker-bga
  5. im very surprised page kept it that close. did centennial play bad or is page better than we all thought?
  6. i attended all the games yesterday and i dont think anyone can hang with BA. they were very well coached and they have great size and versatility. they should win the tournament
  7. i think you have to watch out for lipscomb in this tourney. slater is a great player and their other guard (i think his name is clayton) has been on fire all year. they also have a few good sophomores who get some time. the only thing hurting them could be their lack of size
  8. should be a nice tourney with a lot of solid teams. father ryan vs. stratford blackman vs. brentwood independence vs. clarksville mt juliet vs. glencliff
  9. franklin is a very solid team at every position. inside is good with batt and siske, and the outside can defend and get up and down the court. glass doesnt miss from outside. they should win the district with ease, but i do not see them beating either antioch or whites creek. i think their lack of a go to guy could hurt them in the long run
  10. this game will not be close. centennial is too big and too good to lose this game. and page is just in a down year
  11. not sure of her name but she was a freshman last year at mt juliet and transfered to wilson central. she is a very special ball player
  12. What a game! both teams kept going at each other until the final buzzer. congrats to both teams. it was a great battle inside with the sophomores kelly and teichman, with each one fighting for rebounds and showing their post moves to the other. but the difference make was lamont harris, he played outstanding. he blocked shots, got boards, and made his shots. i think the play that lost brentwood the game was when they were holding for the last shot with a minute left in OT. but 40 for brentwood shot a 3 with 20 seconds left and centennial got the rebound and on their posession harris scored the games last 2 points cant wait for the rematch!!!
  13. kelly is a very good player and even tougher to stop, but i wouldnt count tiechman out. with that said he will also need some help from guards doubling down and the other big guys coming from the back side. if they can get drew into foul trouble, like they did to luttrell, i think brentwood wins going away
  14. i think the matchup between kelly and teichman will be the key to this game. whichever of the two outplays the other, their team should win
  15. i dont think franklin will have much competition for the top spot. i saw hillsboro beat brentwood on channel 9 this morning and they looked very beatable. they were weak inside and do not have good outside shooters. they are a very good team but not on franklins level. and as for the 3 spot why is independence not in there. i think they are the only team with a chance to knock off franklin. but that being said centennial and brentwood are the darkhorses with their inside play and good shooting
  16. antioch by at least 20. ravenwood can't contend with antiochs size and speed
  17. i do think franklin and hillsboro will battle it out for the regular season district title. but you can not count brentwood and independence out. independence is a very balanced team who is tought to beat with their inside-out game. and brentwood did get blown out by hillsboro but they were missing teichman due to an illness and harris and meacham were sick also but still played
