GregG. You did not write to me, probably because I have not posted on here in awhile, but I still read the threads. And you know who I am. Couple questions I have? How long did you coach at Centennial, versus the other coaches? I think its something like 8 years, I might be wrong. But the number of years is not the point, the point is you coached there longer than any other coach. I would hope you have a better record than someone who coached for 1 or 2 years. Your 3 winning seasons, plus 8 years of coaching, equals 5 losing seasons. Guess what that's more than any other coach. My second and last issue with your post. "Be a MAN!" Everyone remember "footballprincess" who posted some on here a couple years ago? Anyone want to take a guess at who she might be? I remember a time you, went talked about me to another faculty member at Centennial, while I was at a vending machine. I specifically remember you talking about the things I said about you on this public forum. Why didn't you talk to me about it to my face? Perhaps, for the same reason '07 or I never came and talked to you, to your face during the school day. Personally, I didn't because I knew I would say something that would have gotten me AC or expelled. I have one last thing to say. During my time at Centennial High School, I won 2 state championships in filmmaking one of which with '07. I also won 2 Emmy Awards, both of those with '07. I started "The Centennial High School Coaches Show" which aired and still aires every Thursday on WC-TV Channel 3. I paved a way for future media students at Centennial, and will continually support that program. Currently I attend Western Kentucky University, where I am employed by the football team as the video coordinators student assistant. Centennial has got a good team this year, lead by Liberty signee SS Matt Williams. I personally thought pitching was going to be a weak point with this team, but there have been several guys who have stepped up on the mound. They beat Mt. Juliet in the big Riverdale tourny. Look for these guys to be there late this season.

i only stayed for the first half of this game, and thats all i needed to see. Franklin was man-handled from the opening tip.

its a tuff choice this season not too many people played outstanding all season, it will come down to either Young or Kelly. bigboss made two great points. however with Kelly, he always puts up atleast 20 no matter what. even against Franklin when was double and tripled teamed all night he found a way to get points. at one point in the game he was surrounding by all 5 Franklin defenders and still managed to get off a decent shot and drew a foul.

centennial wins by 11 points over Indy...and well thats all i know

this game will be a dog fight from tip off to the final buzzer. i expect each team to swap the lead several times. Franklin is very deep in talent and can continuously rotate fresh legs the later the game gets. we all know their best in 11-AAA, and even if they do lose, they still will be the best team in 11-AAA there's no doubt about that. however i think if this Centennial team can play lights out basketball for the 32 minutes, they will win this game. they have talent and skill level to beat this Franklin and i think they've come along these last few games with Drew out of the line-up. if Drew is able to play and Allante and Preston and Ty can keep doing what they've been doing, and add Drew into the mix, then there's one heck of team. and again, for the like 4th straight week i will not be there, this time im out of town. i really do hate work!

i was told centennial beat brentwood 55-35sih...i dont the exact score because i wasnt there, again.

i didnt get to go to the centennial game this week, but i from several friends it was quite a game. one note i want to add, is that Ty Jones has been battling the flu for sometime. it seems he managed to battle threw that, and step up for his team when needed. i would like to think had Drew played he would dropped atleast 15 and this would not have go to overtime, but we'll never know...

im curious to know how you found this out.

why dont we talk about the game, and not how badly RHS got beat by Franklin if Drew is able to play Centennial will win for sure by atleast 10. if Drew does not play, then it will make for an interesting game. id like to Centennial would still win, but i think it comes down to our guards and how they play. Preston Stroop and Travis Williams will have to step up their game. McLemore and Jones will have to play smarter and really have to hit their outside shots. it may by good for this team to play a couple games without Drew. We'll tomorrow.

Drew has a mid-foot sprain, i talked to coach kelly and thats what he told me...he said its nothing serious their just hard to get rid of. Coach also said he wasnt going to play Drew tonight. I dont know how the game tonight ended up, but im sure we'll hear shortly

well of the only centennial fans on this board, none of us were at the game. i had to work...i don't know where CHS2007 was...so neither one of us can really comment on the game. if i had seen it i would've talked about it some.

i didnt make the game last night, but i do know Stroop pretty well, and i would say his offense is very inconstant, when he is on there's no stopping him, and whens off...well he doesnt make anything. his defensive play is great however, he is very quick to the ball and gets his hands the ball often and disrupts the shot or the play and good in transition.

i do kinda agree with that, i was at the Western Kentucky, Nebraska game the other night...and wondered if Dew would have been able to keep up with some those guys out there. College ball is completely different than HS, much faster pace, ect... i do know Ty Jones is looking at WKU as well as Allante McLemore dont know if hes going to do football or bball in college

with the offering vs getting letters, deal with Kelly i may be wrong on this, but a school cannot offer any sort of scholarship till after a players Junior season. (meaning drew couldn't receive any offers till like March or April. He could then sign to a school in May or wait till later in his senior year. there're other rules about recruiting that im not to sure about, so i wont bring them up, and i may even be wrong on what i said above, if i am please someone correct me...

well said, i would say thats true for every team in the district this year. i know the centennial fans are looking forward to the game, even though its still several weeks away. centennial didnt play so well tonight, if they can get their act together before the Indy game, i believe Centennial and Drew Kelly will dominate the game. Indy has absolutely no inside presence this year. and kelly came off with 25 tonight against overton after being double and triple teamed most of the night. i just hope the last few games for CHS have been the low before the high that carry them the rest of season.

Drew sat most of the 3rd quarter, no idea why that was... Indy on friday, if we dont shape up we may lose. but ill still take centennial by 8

centennial does not play tomorrow. they however play Page on Saturday, i have no idea why this is a weekend game, but it is. Centennial plays Stratford on Monday @Stratford (centennials first away game of the season)
