Halls is now 6-2, after going undefeated at the Farragut Thanksgiving Tournament. Halls beat Farragut Friday, 53-45 and Science Hill Saturday, 58-50. Now the fun begins. Karns Tues, and OR Friday.

My younger son played AAU with Hunter all through Middle School. I was shocked when I heard he was a year younger then most of the team. Those teams also had Matt Randolph from Central.

They T'd up a kid last night. Now he might of said something but it was a horrible foul to begin with and he was unhappy, but I never saw anything that made me think T him up. Maybe we are getting spoiled from AAU, but so far these games are soooooo bad.

Was expecting a better game tonight. Halls wins over So. Doyle 73-38. It was close for the 1st half but officiating was HORRIBLE. These Refs are gonna catch soooooo much crap this year.

Was their a problem?? Why would you travel thousands of miles to play Jeff Co at a nuteral site? Hahahahaha.

Hopefully the weather cooperates tonight. We play the nite-cap @ 8:30.

Halls over Gibbs 66-55. Now 2-0 in the district. 3-2 overall.

Halls over Pigeon Forge 68-41. Back to .500 at 2-2, 1-0 in district. Playing a district game tonight @ Gibbs.

Halls over Central. 68-54. Halls never gave up the lead all night. Central made a couple big pushes. I must say, I was surprised by our play. They are not as good as last years team but, they are better then I expected. They are missing a couple of key things but I think Randy will make them competitive. On a side note I went though the book and the fouls from the 1st 2 games were 44 and 45. Pretty sure tonight was 40+ also. Central will get better as the football kids make the switch. They are missing a big man and they are young. I think it'll be a lot closer the next time. I said it before. Spots 2-8 are up for grabs.

Didn't go. With work, I can usually catch about 3 qtrs anywhere in our district but GP and Sevier are to far away. I just rehashed some info from Jesse Smithey. I'm gonna look at the book because I'll be interested to see total fouls from both these games. I have a feeling it's over 50 a game.

I was told at the Halls/Jeff Co game to get used to this. Gonna be a lot of late nights if the games run this slow. TSSAA instructed the Refs to tighten up on the hand checking.

Coach T Twitter feed had it wrong. Leatherwood had 38 for GP.

He's good, but they are VERY different players. I'll leave it at that.

Red Devils head to Pittman Center tonight for an 8:00 tip-off. Hoping for a better outcome than the Jeff Co game. Don't know what to think about the '13/'14 Red Devils. Hope they come back with the "W".

Not that I don't love the jamboree, but you won't see anything from Bearden and I'd be surprised if you saw anything from Oak Ridge. Everyone plays and you get a KOC t-shirt. Halls and Grace to kick off tonight. I don't think Grace likes Halls so it could be interesting, but really it's just a bit of fun. Just saw the paper so now I'm guessing the OR/Bearden game is a real game. Ooooops.

Halls lost to JC 56-61. Refs call about 100 fouls. I hope this is not the norm, because it's gonna be a long, long season. They(JC) played a lot faster than the past couple of years.

Did anyone ever confirm the 7' footer at GP? There was a little talk then it just fell off the map.

Halls has Jeff Co at home tonight and GP on the road Thurs. Finally a decent non-conference schedule. A home and home with GP and Sevier Co, @ Fulton Dec 16, Thanksgiving tournament at Farragut, and Xmas at Heritage. We did lose some keys players on both sides but I think the rest have worked hard and will make a season of it. I like this district because it's always a battle for the top spots. Yes I agree it's OR to lose but they will have to come play every game.

Looking forward to BB season. Saw Randy Moore at a football game and looks like Halls finally got a decent non conference schedule. To bad it's a year or 2 late. Gonna be a real interesting year in N Knox.

From what I saw, the will go as their big man 33 goes. They have that funny press break where a F walks up the floor and the G follows opp the press. They can shoot but I thought when we were able to pressure the ball in the back court they made bad mistakes. As long as you play a full game I don't see any problems.

Would like to see a strong showing out of 3AAA tonight. I really hate being in the 4AAA shadow.
