True. Region now has Huntland and Collinwood. That region game is almost a 2 hour drive itself.

Rotates each year. Our region would have complaints if you put us East or west. Wayne County is also in our region so wouldn’t be fair for them to go east either. We kinda like that song from Reservoir Dogs…..Stuck in the middle.

Forrest should be able to keep field position with run game and defensive play. Lewis has ability to win but their play is very inconsistent. Lewis will have a coaching advantage and honestly if Lewis wins it will show but my gut says Chapel Hill pulls it out. 28-14

Looks like it. Cascade could do it. East Hickman and Tyner was a couple that I had to think a while about also. Don’t know much about Unaka but Midway usually has a decent bunch. Hope you doing well Mike. Figured ole Cherokee Tom would have picked Greenback.

Pulling for the Pirates on this side. Would like to see them win it all this year. Geno told me that sos established endurance training this year to help them boys get faster before he left. I didn’t know that Jones man knew what endurance meant. Come to think about it….Wasn’t they chasing chickens before sos showed up?  Roy told me not to listen to that Geno man. He was only good at painting goalposts. Said he took painting classes at Jasper several years ago.

Say it ain’t so. They was undefeated and ranked #2 in the state. How did they lose?  Oh I see. They was playing a 6A powerhouse. I started to say there is no way they could lose to a school in their class. I mean seriously they are Region season paper champs in the toughest region of 5A. No way they get put out before the championship game though. Reason is they are 8-1 and will win Friday against a very tough Lincoln County team.
