Well I was at the game and it was not hard to figure out that Thornton took a swing at the other player. Not just my view others had the same view. Hard to mistake this with a "gentleman discussion"

No what I said was the coach at the middle school coaches for two years 7&8, 6 has a different coach. It's not the players it's the coach.

Why not? The middle schools only have players for two years with the same coach. High school is four year program. If it is the responsiblity of the westwood and middle school coaches to make the high school some players then Taylor needs to send 1/2 his check to both coaches. Is this what you are now saying??? So you would say it was the coach? Talent level has remained the same and a coach made all the difference in the world? So in football you say it's the coach and in basketball we just don't have any talent? I disagree. The same players on the basketball team play on other teams that are succesful.

First of all, the critisism is not meant for your son, he is fine young man. The critisism is for the politics that are in the basketball program. Correct me if I am wrong, of all the line up changes this year one spot has not changed. There are other players that make it to all the practices and work just as hard and don't get the same chances. Of course all of this is my opinion and I am allowed to have one. Second of all, your post is a bad reflection of your seat on the school board. How does that look to an outsiders reading the posts and see a school board member challenging a woman to a fight for her opinion? You have to make the school board proud. And lastly, it's Kentucky wildcats. Moving is not the answer, a non biasad evalution of the program is.

Coach Taylor needs to hand the reigns over to someone. Football has made a BIG turn around with a different coach and Basketball will to. Just takes a long time for all to see their are coaches that have talent not connections. Nine years is enough for any coach to make a program better but, in this case you can't say that. The only thing coach taylor can do different is win some games.....

Well Coach Taylor is good for another nine seasons now(1-15). This one (Columbia) goes to the players and has nothing to do with the coach. Because if you think the coach's game plan worked, then what about all the other game plans? Coach had a plan for defense not offense. Here's another opinion: The coach has a record of not winning. After nine seasons and only one season over 500 and 5 seasons out of nine with double digit wins that is truely pitiful. But he will be their as long as he wants thanks to the good old boy ways of coffee county. I agree that a truely good coach makes his way with less talent. Not the case here, the home games are like visitor sides anywhere else. After the girls game all leave. you can hear the crickets. He is being paid to do a job that he is not being held accountable is the only reason a record like his is acceptable.
