Have to agree with Drewcephus. Defense looks as good or better than last year! Not sure if they are as good as defense two years ago I really liked that d line. Our QB is quicker than Calvin but will not juke and jive like McNairl. Not as strong of an arm but accurate. Need for our O-line to step up this Fri. and give Allen just a little running room. He's chomping at the bit to run and seemed to be on top of his blockers all night last Fri. night against Father Ryan. If he gets a little steam I'm sure he'll introduce himself to the LB's on Northwest which should be great fun for us to watch! Go Big Red!!!!!! HC 24 NW 6

O- line does need a little work, but remember they are completely new and will need some time to gel as a unit. I was also impressed with Marsalis. He showed some quickness on a few runs and although not as strong as arm as McNairl looked very accurate. Looking forward to seeing our progress throughout the season and hopefully Friday night. Was the #7 in the scrimmage Greg Kendall the freshman and if so will he be returning kicks full time? I knew he was quick, but wow to come up to varsity as a freshman says a whole lot about what the coaches think about him. Go Big Red!!!!

How did Henry County do in the scrimmage Friday night?

Saw alot of size at Henry County pract other night? Who are the linemen? Heard we had some huge sophmore? What side of the ball does he play? Can't wait till the scrimmage at HC to see what we got! Boy is it hot on the practice field those boys are tough I was just watching and got hot!!!!!

I am not referring that we lose I always play to win! Just made the statement that I feel that we match up better vs Rossview. Had difficulties hitting shots the other night. Thought that the offense looked good as fars as movement and uses of screens etc.. but once we got the shots we wanted we just didn't finish. Thought the biggest problem though was not offense, but our ineffectiveness from keeping Sprinfield off the the offensive board. Thought we did a descent job in the first quarter but it fell off the rest of the night. They had several boards in the first but were not able to finsh early. They were a bigger team than I expected and pretty athletic. They didn't press as much as they did last year which surprised me a little. We do need to win at Rossview for momentum going into the tourney although if we lost I think that would give us a better match up then Dickson because Rossview holds the tiebreaker and we would play Rossview on Friday rather then Dickson. I think that is the scenario. Well good luck Pats against Rossview and going into tourney!

Nothing major just Marshall county fans, players and a MC coach being idiots. Got escalated a little when people from our crowd went out on court to"help break" it up! Cleaned up pretty quick!

Thought the boys did alright last night. Wished we could have won but Clarksville is honestly a better team and sometimes thats just how it is! They've got three legitimate scorers in Harper, Caldwell, and Merriweather. They can create their own shot and that is nice to have if your Ted Young( Clarksville's coach) Not really sure what we could have done any different that would of helped us. Tried the zone and Harper ate it up. Tried manning them and was fairly successful for most of the game. Don't think that we could have pressed them so got to give them credit for being a good team. Not as good as the Clarksville team that had Shawn Marion and Trenton Hassell but definitely a solid team. I''d give them an 8.5 out of 10.

If the Pats play some hard core defense and cut down on turnovers I think they can and will win this game! Need 3 guys in double digits not just Mario and his band of merry men watching him score.

Heard the game on the radio and wow it sounded like a good game! Has NE imroved that much because I thought we beat them by a sizeable margin the first time? Well it's good that we got by NE but Clarksville spanked Kenwood by 40 and now they are coming into Henry Co!! I hope that HC is ready and more prepared to play then we were at their place. I think that if we play a slow down game it might be beneficial. Don't want to get that team jump started because its to hard to stop! Good Luck to all the Pats on Tuesday night!

I won't be able to attend that game my kids got a Capps game but I will listen on the radio. Hope that we play well at NE!! Looking forward to Clarksville coming to HC went to that game and we never showed up althought Clarksvillle is really good we would have to play an A+ game to beat them!

Jimmy whats your take on the Northeast game Friday night? I am a little apprehensive because NE played us pretty tough here in Henryland! Whats your prediction? Also got to give some props to the PG at HCHS he shot lights out last night there must be a magnet on the goal because the ball kept going in for him last night. I've always thought he was a nice player but never seen him shoot that well!

Well Jimmy I might agree with you that they are better than they appear but which team are you rooting for? You appear as though you are rooting for Dickson?
