Can't get to the game tonight but I will listen. Hopefully Henry County goes in and takes care of what they need to early and takes control so that the outcome will not be a mystery! Gameplan :1.) Score more points than the other team 2.) prevent the other team from scoring as much as possible Basketball is a simple sport do those two things and you'll probably win the game hehe

Watcher I hope that your predictions are more like prophesy because a Dickson County win over Springfield would be nice. I think that the NW over Northeast is a little far fetched because I really like NE but you never know. I'm just hoping for a BIG RED victory Friday night!!

Don't know think that it will be fun to watch a Springfield-Henry County game for a third time. You know what they say it's hard to beat a team 3 times! Just don't want to look past anyone and want to take each game 1 at a time and maybe players will come around and with a little luck mixed in we'll get to meet C'ville in the finals!

Could not agree with you more on the NE comment. They are talented , well coached ,and always play hard ! Would love to see the NE and Clarksville game if it happens. My beaned friend you state good things and I have no problem what so ever with what your comments and again if you feel attacked please accept my apologies. I do agree with Red Dawn that Dickson is a scarier team than Rossview althought I think the she/he is implying the HC lose to get the other. By the way Red Dawn are you a boy or a girl?? Although I agree on most parts I will say this for the record. Henry County can beat any of these teams. Springfield is not unbeatable and Northwest played them tough two weeks ago and it was a 3 point ballgame so they are very beatable. Clarksville is a different animal but if my memory serves me correctly didn't HC beat them last year to advance in the tourney when we were not suppose to? No team is unbeatable I don't care what the regular season looks like. Look at the story on the home page on the Gleason girls from last year getting beat in Region finals to a team they had beat twice by an average of 17 points . Clarksville is a team that if you get them in foul trouble or can hang around late they could be shocked. They have had blowouts most every game this year Northeast has played them well so I'd like to know what they are doing the rest are not but anyway stop bowing down to the Wildcats and crowing them before its time! They are a good team probably the best in 10AAA but they haven't won the tourney yet thats why we play!

Think this comment is a little uncalled for. I do believe that the aforementioned player( #11 to the layman) is a high intensity guy who plays really really hard, but I would not call him classless! I think what he might of meant was that he wanted to meet them in the championship game so that they could lock horns again! I wasn't there( in the line or wherever he said as I was walking out to my car extremely out of earshot from the players) and don't really know the player personally but from people that I've heard things from he's a good kid that is really competitive. Also as a fan and a father of a young player I always tell him that if you foul a guy going to the basket make it count and I believe this was the case here at Henry County when he fouled # 34. It's all in your perspective. To me watching the game from HC's side I saw him trying to hard foul and prevent a basket; from Clarksville side they see a classless intentional foul. I've played and watched basketball for a long time and its funny to watch both crowds react to any number of calls in completely different ways based on how it affects their team. Had a tough loss tonight but we'll get up for tomorrow night against Springfield!

So basically does this mean that we will play Dickson Co? If so although we have beaten them twice that is a scary match up for us. One that we cannot take lightly because if my memory serves me right they played us tough at home!

I think that I did give C'ville credit if you read the above post again. Henry Coun ty also missed several layups underneath possibly because of Merriweather's length! I admit that in order for Henry County to beat this team it will take an A effort from them and a minimum of an avg effort from C'ville , but those nights are possible and anything can happen come tournament time! I think that HC"s defensive effort was there most of the night and I suspected thery would come out in the 3rd with a little mote motivation. They scored almost at will in the 3rd and put it away quick. So no disrespect to C'ville they are a good team but not unbeatable. The final score to me was not indicative of how close this ball game was really! If my memory serves me right NE played C'ville close (10pts) and did Springfield play pretty close too? Not sure but seems like I read that somewhere. Anyway get a few guys in foul trouble or a few guys have an off night and the upper echlon of 10AAA (HC,Springfield,NE) could beat this team! I admit that C'ville hands down is the best team in the district though and if noone can beat them then as a fan of our district I would hope that they do well in the region and state ! By the way what colleges are looking at Harper,Merriweather, and Caldwell?
