  1. Well Henry County stepped up and beat a determined Fairley team and now its time to drive to Memphis TN! Let the discussion begin!!!!
  2. Yes it was freshman Andrew Jelks. I was a little surprised myself. But he looked to do a good job!
  3. Although this not a scientific prediction here is my stab at the rankings. 1. Springfield 2.Northeast/Rossview 3.Henry County will contend in the top 4 mark my words 4.Northwest 5. CLarksville 6.Kenwood 7.Dickson Co. Springfield is going to be a bear to play with all of their returning players. Northeast is well coached and are bringing back Alderson who is at least a 3 star player on the National scene. Rossview has some nice post players but will need to find the guards to get Williams the ball often Henry County will go deep into the football playoffs which will hurt the B'ball team but once those guys get back look out after Christmas!!!! NW descent athletes but new coach new system give em a year or two Clarksville has lost alot the past two years time to rebuild Kenwood is well.... Kenwood Dickson Co is going to be lost without Primm and Bell. I completely agree with the Professa on that statement. So what does everyone think about this attempt at a prediction?
  4. Professor Chaos looked up info on the situation. Article III Section 7 of TSSAA By laws On the ejection of a student athlete, the school will be required to submit a report on the action of the player and any disciplinary action taken by the school. The minimum penalty will be the suspension of the student athlete from participation in the next contest(s) at the level of competition for the specified number of contests played during a week in the particular sport (one game in football, two contests in all other sports). In addition, the student athlete is also suspended from participation in the same number of contest(s) at any other level of competition in the same sport. I hope I am misreading that? What do you think?
  5. I smell the faint aroma of pizza in the air for the players!!! YUMMY!!!! /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> Good job Henry County players and coaches!!!
  6. /ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> My powers are weakening?!?! hehe
  7. So are you a Patriot fan transplanted from Milan? I sense that maybe you played at Milan and cannot be completely objective because of your deep seeded love and commitment to the DAWGS!? How close am I?
  8. Hillsboro plays Maplewood Thursday night I've got Direct TV and its channel 30 at 7 p.m.
  9. It was Shonte Sims #1. But lots of big hits last night. Martez Teague #23, Robbie Gallimore #38 were popping people. I watched Teague put someone one their back every kick off. He was one of the gunners on kick off. I loved the big hits,I just hope everyone who received them will be ok.
  10. I agree on this one just from what I've read they should be best match up.
  11. I agree whole heartedly on this. HC people need to sit and watch this season with earnest because teams this good do not come around often. They are really fun to watch!! Great job to all that played tonight!!
  12. If the weather is clear could we have a 200 yard rusher perhaps? Pretty close Friday night on a cool and wet one in Jackson. I think both went #3 and #34 went for over 140 yards each!?! Defense needs to bring the wood and force some turnovers! Looking for them to be especially motivated if we want the show that we're capable of! This is a great time for our players with so many scouts watching the games! Surely some local colleges and scouts will be looking at next years seniors. We have several talented Juniors on this team! We are going to be pretty good the next several years! Think WV will reup the matchup for two more? My question is how can someone win more games then they've played? 29 out of 23???? /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> hehe lol We are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
  13. Should be 132-13. Gave up that last long touchdown with 30 or 40 seconds to second and third string guys and they still had their first string in! /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  14. hehehe /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> I'd listen to him!!! He is the"ADVISOR" /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  15. Talked with someone who was at the Dyer County game the other night and this is what he said. QB is above average and can get the ball down the field. Thr rb everyone is talking about is pretty good, but their best player is a WR couldn't remember his #, but he felt that the kid had alot of potential to play on Sat. If I understood correctly. Dyer Co. had the lead late in the game and the WR had a ball thrown with 1on1 coverage and he out jumped the much smaller DB to score the go ahead TD. He said that both lines were smallish. Didn't think that Henry County would have much trouble with them, but I am not entirely convinced. We need our A game for each and every contest! I'll be happy when we see the triple zeroes and we are on top! So thats what I've heard! Can anyone confirm or detract info?
  16. Amen Advisor! I already jumped on this, but you say it more directly. This is stupid to talk about. I'm ready for Liberty and no one else!!!!!
  17. No offense PatsontheBack, but we are playing Liberty on Friday not Maryville. Don't get the cart before the horse. One game at a time!!
  18. Rumor has it that they've had several transfers that are all very good players? Patriot 04 on the Dickson thread said they have a very good rb. They came back last night to beat a good Dyer Co. team. Thats all I know.
  19. Polishing is what we need to do. Continue working on fundamentals of the game and polishing our technique to a high gloss!
  20. P04 thanks for the summary. I agree on Liberty read all of my earlier posts I've said that they will be a major sleeper in our Region. Nice to get the win last night in the fashion that we did, but now it's time to start game planning for Liberty! Whats the rb's name does any one know?
  21. Your right about the silver lining. You may take your bumps and bruises now but it will pay off in a year or two when you play really young guys. Also just my opinion but I think DC should dump the 4 qb system and build the offense around #17 using the #6 guy as a split end/wing back position. But what do I know? /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Good luck to ya'll the rest of the season!
  22. Amen to all of the above. Kickers don't usually get much credit on any level but this kid is doing a great job in the kicking game. Probably won't get many chances to use his leg other than point afters and kick offs. Not been around a long time but one of the best legs I've seen at HC in a long time. Can't wait to see the stats on Monday. Although the most important stat is the W! Which receiver caught the td last night was it Skylar or Hooper. I saw the 1 on the shirt but couldn't see the other #? Mac was just having cramps. I"m sure Robbie appreciated that a little. Haven't seen him run that much since his Lakewood days! hehe
  23. I am ecstatic about the win, but I cannot dismiss the feeling that we have not played a good team yet. Reading the article in the Tennessean yesterday from the Dickson Co. coach he used several "coach words" to say we are not a good team. When I hear a coach say " We are a young team","We have four quarterbacks that we're going to rotate in and out","our numbers are a little down" etc.... The red flag comes up to say this is a nice way to say we may not be that good. This is nothing to take away from our Pats, they played well on both sides of the ball and when DC took away the middle several Pats stepped in and made them pay from Mac and Robbie running the end around to receivers catching balls everywhere. Defense has come a long way from where they were this spring and even the scrimmages. J. Fowler was a hole stopper last night and let me say if your going to run at him you'd better bring a big battering ram! Looking forward to Liberty next week. This is a game I have circled early in the season because a few of us fans feel that Liberty will be better than people think. Still feel that we will get the win, but it could be our first real test against a decent team. Going into the game next week our stats are gawdy. We are scoring 48.5 pts/game and only giving up 3. WOW!!!!!!
