  1. Ok, that wasn't much of a game tonight but our boys looked pretty good out there. I almost felt bad for IHS, not because of their playing ability, they have some talent. But their coach was quite a sad sight. When you give up on your own team and just set and not coach or do anything, that's pretty pathetic. I guess I just would expect more from someone who claims to have "world" knowledge of basketball. Is that what they teach you in Europe? Besides that, the atmosphere was great until we got a little bored and quit exchanging jabs at each other. Way to go REBS....looks like another season of ruling the district!
  2. Does anyone keep up with whats really going on?? Rumor is Isaac Baugh isn't even going to play. Not that this will hurt the team any, he was only average at best. Their demise will be their coach and his coaching!!
  3. I say Franklin by 12. And, they still play fine without siske! He was in foul trouble the last couple of games we played before he got hurt. Don't get me wrong, he's a great spark for the team, but our depth will help us survive!
  4. Good one! I think little cubs is just always bitter. Some people are just always sore losers.
  5. Well, just as predicted rebels sweep the district! Indy just can't hang with the rebels. The eagles looked a little sluggish last night, not even playing with the same fire as they did at our house. I think several of their players had some great defense, but as I've stated before, If Kuchar is not on, you just can't seem to win. He's still a good player, but I thought surely you would have learned by now you need some other gameplans and other plays set up for other players. It's plain and simple, Coach Henrie was CLEARLY outcoached. I'm looking forward to another matchup, in the tournaments, where we can claim a third and final victory over Indy!
  6. I think I can pretty much tell you the outcome-Rebels by 6. No need for a recap. But Donathon does do it best-I'm hoping for a full in depth post. Even though I will be there.
  7. My biased vote is for Derek Batt. second- Drew Kelly-who came out this year and played awesome as just a sophmore third- Kuchar
  8. I think we all know what the outcome of this game will be-Rebels rule! But, I will say that it could be close again. In the end the rebels will pull it off. I predict young to have another stellar night and us to put a better stop on Kuchar. When that happens-game over! I suspect we might have a dunk or two Also, look for our fans to be ready to go...cause we're pumped! Go Rebels!
  9. Are you kidding me? Is this supposed to be a joke? I'll say rebels by 30+. Although we may have to dig in to the JV by the end of the 1st quarter or we could possibly bring along some Grassland middle school players, then I'd say rebels by 15.
  10. most of you will know me formerly as rebelplaya, after tonight I just felt the need for a better name. As I stated all along--REBELS win. I will admit to being off on my point margin, as Indy played a heck of a ballgame. There were plenty of bad calls and we looked like we've never looked in the first half--sloppy! I think Indy was outcoached. I guess you don't have to play professional all over the planet (quote from todays city paper) to be the best. Enough excuses, Indy had some players step up big time. Not sure where King came from, where's he been all year?? He played great. And yes, Kuchar did carry the team. But you also have to look at the fact that several of our BIG players are 10th graders. Young definitely played a heck of a game!! I can't imagine what we'll look like in the years to come. Well, like I stated last week--REBELS RULE! I can't wait for the next matchup. 10 days and counting......
