Sounds like guard Shonte Sims is really starting to play ball. I'm told he had 28 against Kenwood friday and had 27 against the team from Missouri at home Saturday. I think that's a name that people in WEst TN are going to be hearing a lot of the rest of this year and next! Also, congratulations to Marcus Etheridge, that's a great accomplishment, we're all proud of you! Keep working, and lets make some noise this year!

I couldn't agree more... A lot will be decided this week, and some separation should take place. I just hope the weather doesn't end cancelling some games on tuesday

I think they ended up winning by 12 or so, seemed to be in control throughout the game but just never quite got it opened up... Charleston was impressive though, played very physical defense. But henry county was just too much for them to handle

That would be an exciting event to watch. Its a shame there's too many restrictions on scheduling and that it couldn't ever take place. Seems to be several really good teams this year in rural west tn. Out of these teams, who returns the best squad (potentially) for next year?

So now clarksville and rossview are a top the district before their showdown tuesday night, both at 5 and 1 with their only loses coming to northeast. And then northeast and henry are at 4 and 2. With springfield and I think northwest at 3 and 3. Pretty tight race right now!

Wow! I guess I'm done with predictions. That is a surprise to me but a huge win for nw.

Just called the school and they said game is on. Didn't realize dickson was out today, but guess they can still play. I'm gonna try to make the trip, always seems to be a good game when hc and dc match up

I'm thinking Northeast wears out Northwest, Henry over Dickson, Rossview over Kenwood, and the game I really have my eye on is Springfield at Clarksville. Really not sure who I have in this one.....

I can't hardly get over last night. What a big win for hc. Was that just a fluke or do they have a chance to really make a legitimate run? I'd like to think so, what do you think? Northeast is the real deal I think. They have played well against everyone in the district and beat beech pretty handily who seems to be a frontrunner on the other side. I think it would be great if the top 2 or 3 from this side could beat out the other side of the region this year and make some noise. I have actually expected it the last 4 or 5 years, but it seems in the past clarksville has had the only success in that regard. Could that change this year? Share some thoughts please, as I have not yet seen anyone on that side play this season...

I will say I was wrong about the Kenwood score, that was impressive to me that they played so close to Springfield. Also it seems that Dickson gave NE a run, atleast for the first half... Maybe something to build on we will see. As for your other comments, I am not concerned with them, nor will I engage in a conversation with you about something that may or may not have happened a year ago. It doesn't matter either way, and really not even sure exactly nor do I care. Never been one to have an agenda of bashing kids or coaches. Yeah Rossview did play a good game last night. Big #34 is a tough task inside as well, Childs maybe? Williams was unconscious last night, he even was backboarding 3's in ha. But however, if Rossview plays as I saw last night they will suprise some people this season. All that said, I didn't feel like Henry County played their best game but were still around and right in it up until the end. So if you can take anything encouraging from a loss, I think you might be able to build on the fact that with Rossview playing very well and HC not playing near to the level that I have seen them playing at recently, they should keep their heads up and get back to work. I still expect some big things from them this season!! What was the story in the Springfield, kenwood game? I am interested to hear, the score kind of surprised me..

Yeah I like your thinking, I will also pick HC tonight. I think Cville will beat northwest, but might be closer than some would think. Northeast will beat Dickson, but I am curious to see by how much. Springfield should destroy Kenwood I would think, what do you think fastcat?
