Cookeville has the guard play and it's not too slow. Cookeville needs to let Kelsey Odle run the offense and all will be well. The "ebony and ivory" comment is pretty goofy too.

It looked like to me that the principal was taking pictures of the Siegel girls clutching and grabbing the Cookeville players. He probably used his video camera to show how long the Siegel girls where congregating in the lane. He probably used still shots to capture all the illegal screens the Siegel girls were setting. Taking pictures of free throws just doesn't seem to be the action shots the principal was trying to capture.

I watched the first Siegel/Cookeville game earlier this year. I saw Siegel get away with setting illegal screen after illegal screen within the three second lane. On top of that, those girls could have started a campfire and cooked hotdogs as long as those refs were letting them stay in the lane. Yet, in a game that was played at Cookeville, Siegel won in double overtime. After that game, I didn't see one post from a Cookeville fan complaining about the officiating. It was a loss. Now, we have Cookeville stomping Siegel and the Siegel Nation whine about the officiating? Give me a break. I believe it was PHargis who said earlier that Cookeville needs a nation. Bologna.

Gordo, I've been to Cookeville games. How many games have you been to? I bet you can't answer with a number greater than zero.

Cookeville is 19 - 4 and you believe only Helton has had a good year? They don't wear their names on the back of their jerseys, Helton doesn't score if nobody passes the ball to her, Helton doesn't get free for open shots if somebody doesn't set a screen for her. Take away the rest of the contributions from the "TEAM" and I don't believe Helton could outscore the opposition by herself. Basketball is a team game. If a team is 19 - 4 than I would say everyone on the team has had an outstanding year.
