Why would Miner have to take over "head coaching" duties? Most HC's have a plan period to deal with most "head coaching" duties. Take recruiting for example. College coaches don't want to talk to Miner. They want to talk to the HC. I think OleDad has blown this out of proportion, but I don't understand the logic that Miner or any assistant for that matter should fill in for the HC. If the HC wants to coach another sport, thats great. That should be secondary to his football duties. Running track will make your kids faster, but more schools have developed speed programs to make kids fast instead of relying on track. Face it, high school boys like track because of high school girls.

I am glad they finally found a coach. What's the scoop on Reeves? I read somewhere he has been a head coach but never coached in a game. 2007 The Year of the Beaver?

I agree Stan. Ole Dad is just fishing around. Its obvious he doesn't like coach Stevens and would pick on anything he did.

Spacecowboy I agree. It is not uncommon for a football coach to coach other sports. By the way, from reading his other posts it does seem OleDad does not like coach Stevens.

Hey Spacecowboy, do you think Karns would really interview SirPettus? He spells offense with a "C". The word on Oak Ridge Hwy. changes every day. Miner, Reeves, McBrayer. Who knows?

I hope the boys get a good coach soon. They deserve that much. A friend of mine from work told me yall were talking about the search on here, just thought I would see what was up.
