stupid yes!!! but it is a city ordinance and Oakland is county property, therefore the city's hands are tied. thank God. do i think it is an attack on Oakland? No. But I do think that Oakland has been an easy target in the past because of the perception that nobody wants to go there and the weak administrations that preceded Mr. Vaughn. If Other teams had scoreboards like Oakland's and they were visible from the road they would probably be getting some grief too. I just do not see how electronic signs are a nuisance. They are better than paper bill boards that fade, peel and remain up in poor condition or with outdated info on them!!

Students can get a zone waiver because of how low the student population is. it went from 2500+ in 2000 to within a couple of outgoing transfers of being dropped a level in athletics!!! When Oakland II was opened there was a mass exodus of students and faculty from oakland. If you want to be mad about the zone situation get mad at the school board for building in Oakland's back yard!!!!!!!! Speaking of complexes, did you think that the Siegel people were annoying when they were trying to build there athletic complex? I do like the new playoff format, but I also think it is set up for teams with a deep pitching staff. More teams=more games. You cannot win with only one or two good pitchers.
