Cowan just got PUNKED by coach brock, dang.....

although I have done my fair share of bashing, who cares how many rings who has? who wins, wins, thats the end of it. ezell wins basketball in basketball, and other sports, simply because they have talent. FRA has tons of talent in every area, and we have great coaches, some teams do better, thats the idea of competition. our fans booed Mariska because they were mad that we didn't win, and this understandably upset many people supporting ezell. i would bet that if an FRA player had won that award, ezell people would be upset to, but i don't think that their students would have started booing at her. i like all of the basketball players on the girls team, as I also like the very talented coach. i wouldn't have helped manage basketball @ FRA if I didn't. FRA fans made a dumb choice at that game, and our headmaster has apologized for it, as so have many other people. understand ezell has talent, and the attitude they may show on the court most likely in noway reflects how they are off it. i have a few friends at ezell, i have no problem with Mariska, or any other player, and i myself dont completely understand what the deal is. tensions run high at games like those, forgive and forget about it, thats all part of the game.

Our girls wanted this game, Ezell beat us 4 times last year. With all but one player returning this year, we definately remembered how we were shut out by Ezell many times in the past. I am empressed with how the girls handled themselves and pulled out the win, but also Ezell gave it a good shot, and we will meet again to settle the score more than one time. And yes DCA has beaten us twice, but it goes to show that it doesnt matter how you were in the past or who you lost to, when the time comes the real winners will show themselves... Mario Moore is decent, but he can't shoot free throws. No point guard in the sec is nearly as good as Cliff Hawkins of Kentucky.

I think its going to be a good game, will be interesting after last year (us loosing to Ezell like 4 times) to see who can pull it off this year. Our girls should come out strong, and hopefully pull out a win at home.

FRA doesnt have anything, yet we managed to come back from the 10 point lead you guys put on us in both the guys and girls games, and hold on till the win. We came out stronger and won, thats something.

Will was alot more than a Manager @ FRA. He did manage football but durning basketball he didnt just manage, he basically coached the guys basketball team. Now that we actually have two great head basketball coaches, the managers can do work, not try to be a coach. [Edited by framanager on 12-7-02 11:13A]
