  1. Another season starts soon. The smell of popcorn, hot dogs, someone yelling "stalling" or"what's the bottom man doing". And of course one more (or two more) trips to the barn. Good luck to everyone! Da Bears
  2. If SD wins I think they will forfiet to Cleveland it they win. WV would forfiet to Cleveland also. WV or SD both might wrestles Bradley if they were to win to get a better seed. Bradley could forfiet and take second and get a retun trip back to the duals. Injuries are always a concern this late in the game. WC I think has a better team than last year. I think our 4 teams hang with them. Cleveland has the overall better spread of talent. They are the team to beat. Good luck to all the local teams.
  3. Ticket prices will not be reduced if we don't see a final match.
  4. Yes it has Sommers. There is not much to gain. Cleveland gets top seed as returning Champ so no reason they would want to wrestle. When or if, Walker Valley upsets SD and Bradley upsets Cleveland, you could see those two teams wrestle to imrpove their seeding, but that would be the only combo I could see wrerstling twice.
  5. I doubt you will see the two winning teams wreslte tonight.
  6. Good luck to everyone next Thursday. If you like wrestling, it will be entertaining!
  7. Thanks Soddy boy. Made the corrections.
  8. Yes Soddy looked good. Bradley looked flat but that is not said to take anything away from SD.

  10. TSSAA designed this region a few years ago to try to stop the domination from the area. Didn't work. This area continues to win all the duals and traditonal titles. It may have allowed a few other teams from other regions to make it to third or fourth, All it has done has kept o=2 of the four teams home. Before this alignment we sent three.
  11. Now on to wrestling. WV has Cleveland and Bradley SD tonight. And then next week, there will be some combination of these four teams in the reginoal duals. Any of these fours team will represent our region well in the State duals. Too bad two of these good teams stay home.
  12. Cleveland by 20. kennedy will pin at 220
  13. I do agree the Cotton family is good people and I consider them my friends. .
  14. Thank you baller193. Decision to protect the wrestler comes first. And I don;t get paid to support wreslting.
  15. Cotton is a very good wrerslter and the DQ was just in the scope of two guys wrestling hard. It was an unfortunate thing for both wrestlers. We can all assume who would have won and how they would have done it. Leading at any point in a match does not mean you will win. I know in my years of following wrestling, I have seen the underdog pull out an amazing last second victory. The match mosty likely was a dual changer, No one in that gym wanted to win that way or to lose that way.
  16. Nathan Adams has a concussion. He was released from the hospital last night. Follow up with his doctor will be required to see when he will be released to wrestle again.
  17. WV bumped their lineup in a few places, Could have changed the outcome but we would have needed to know how that match would have ended.
