How well do you think the Bolivar Tigers will do this year?

Number 3, her name is Matrekia Minter but we call her Tree.

The point guard was the MVP for all 3 years at the middle school and the MVP in the small school sectional championship game in Memphis in which they won. Not only can she dribble, but she can get in the paint and make big plays for her teammates and shoot the 3 ball. Brooke Crisp will be on the wing with the other 3 ball, Johnson in the lane for the rebounding and put backs. Go Tigers!!

It is early in the season,but the Bolivar girls are looking really good. They have won 5 games so far this year. 2 Hall of Fames, 1 Jamboree, and 2 Lexington Thanksgiving Classic. They are a young team and they are hungry for wins this season. The past 2 years have not been so good. They won maybe 5 games in that 2 year span. Good Luck to the Tigers.

Friday Bolivar plays at 1:30 against Ripley Saturday Bolivar plays at 2:30 against Dyer Co.

Bolivar girls will be playing Ripley on Friday and Hardin County on Saturday. I know Bolivar will be coming in as the underdogs, but don't be surprise if the games are played close. I know Hardin County is favored to win their district, but the Lady Tigers will fight to the end. I dont know much about Ripley, but I think it will be 2 good games of basketball. Good Luck to both teams.

I think this was be showcase of alot of talent. Maybe Class AA State Championship game in Murfreesboro. If that is the case then I am taking Bolivar. Matter of fact I am taking Bolivar no matter what the case maybe. Good Luck to the both teams!!!

Bolivar will SURPRISE some this year

Bolivar Girls Won 56-51 vs. Dyersburg Bolivar Boys Won 82-66 vs. Dyersburg, I think?

Bolivar Central High School has a freshmen as a guard. She has been the MVP at the Middle School for the past 3 years and MVP of the small school sectional championship in Memphis this year in February. They hosted Dyersburg in the Hall of Fame game last night. She was the leading scorer with 21 points. She is quick and capable of the big plays. Bolivar girls have been in a slump for the past 2 years and things are looking up for them. Good luck to all of the girls. We are behind you 100%.

Every one seems to doubt Bolivar. I smell an upset coming. You can not just keep beating a team, they will eventually get you. Take Bolivar-South Side match-ups. Bolivar kept beating them and then Southside turned the tables. Bolivar kept beating Liberty and Liberty turned the tables. All I can say is WATCH OUT LIBERTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bolivar is pretty good. They came in undefeated. Point guard/Shooting guard is good.

There is also a girl by the name of Kendra Williams out of BOLIVAR. She will be going to the high school next year and she will help. One person can't do all of the work but it will get the ball rolling. She played in the Small School Tournament in Memphis at American Way last week and rounded it out last night with MVP honors. She averaged about 25 points per game. Check her out.
