Being too tall has no effect on you later in life...throwing a curve ball at a young age could force young players into arm trouble at a very young age. You should not start throwing a curve ball untill your muscles and growth plates become more developed...i would say around freshmen START to throw the curve.
im not very familiar with SD...smryna has some good bats with edgerrton and gray..and im pretty sure sd hasnt seen pittching like sonny. should be a good game...im goin with a 1-0 win by smryna,,
yes, any pitch could end your career, butyou are WAY more likely to hurt your arm when you have pitched alot of pitches a day or two before. No game is worth risking hurting your arm, and possibly ending a good career.
Clinard is a good pitcher and i have seen him hit up to 93 with a sharp curve. If Clinard is on his "A" game I will have to go with East on this game. Not only is he a good pitcher but he will also drive in runs for ER. Good luck to all the teams in this tournament
This kid truely is the real deal and hes a great kid also...also vandys head coach coach corbin has come out to watch him throw once or twice. Has been clocked at 93 numerous times with good command and a nasty curveball.
The #5 hitter for smyrna diddnt drive in a run...the 3 runs scored against beech were the first 3 batters the first scoring on errors and sonny gray hitting a two run homer. The #5 hitter had nothing to do with any of the runs scored in the game.
