neither team has an offense. neither team really has a defense. 12-6 unaka.

arguing this is kind of a lost cause because i can think of about 5 players at this point and time that could end up getting this award. it really isent important, i would be just as happy to see milhorn get it as i would lunsford as i would ej or jaynes or irick. we are blessed to be able to put the caliber of players on the field that we have the past 2 years. there are alot of games left to play i'm really not worried about the awards or who the most valueable player is to the team, they are all valueable. but you are right lord vader we do have pretty humble players. they dont get on here and talk much, they just show up on fridays ready to play.

unicoi is underrated. if they had a qb they would be beating alot of good teams. they have improved tremendously in the past two seasons.

why boost esteps tackles, broke back daniels?

you can say what you want. but the scorebord dont boost numbers..... 40-0 buddy, times are good past the double briges.

i dont think onieda is going to run away with it. i just cant help but pick them injuns in a close one. both are respectable teams.

i have to take onieda in this one, midway is a tough team. i am from hampton and i will admit onieda's defense was tough even though hampton didnt play up to par; but hey thats part of it. onieda plays hard every play and only lost by one to rockwood and hampton whereas midway lost to rockwood by a considerable margain. i really will be suprised if onieda looses, they have a really bright future, and are well coached.

i agree that he is having a solid year but 94 tackles in the first 6 games is a bit rediculous. he looks like the best player on a sorry defense but he dont get that many tackles. hamptons tackles are spreaded out, i also think it works better that way. everyone on our defense is looking real solid this year, they are tough to score on.

havent had much time to get on here lately. i have seen that the alliance has been standing strong into this football season, always good to see.

dont pay the creekers any attention, they are just trying to boost his stats to get him playing college ball. he is really not that impressive trust me, i have seen him play several times. as for lunsford he has been a pretty good qb for us this year not including last fridays game he had passed for 6 td's and ran for 4 thats in the first 4 games, according to the eliz. star. i heard friendships qb suffered an injury a few weeks ago, is he going to be back in the line up come playoff time?

i wouldnt call those official, they give him credit for alot of tackles he isent in on. i'm not sure that he would even start at hampton to be honest with you. i seen him get knocked on his butt a few times. i'm not sure that he even had 9 the hampton game, i know he had two face mask penalties.

estep probably had around 25 or 30 against sullivan east if you ask anyone from the star or unaka's stat boy.

i'm going to have to disagree with you for the most part dogfather. i dont know about who is giving us votes or not, really i could care less what the polls say about hampton. i would honestly rather be the underdog. we get plenty of respect from the star. look at the paper some time, read the stories, youll see; it seems like a pic of a hampton player is on the front page of the sports every week. it was the same with cloudland when they was the best team in the county a couple of years ago. the elizabethton star backs hampton just as much as they do every other school in carter co., heck wes was standing near me during last years friendship game with a few fans from hampton and he was just as disappointed about the game as our fans were. i will agree with you on tim's prediction in yesterdays paper (7-8 unaka)being a bit over the top, i'm sure our team can always use a little extra motivation tho. never the less, the fact that his son plays for unaka shouldnt determine his prediction. but heck we won, i really cant complain too much. hampton played pretty well last nite.

i agree, being able to kick a field goal could help hampton in future games. i wonder how far back timmy could kick one from.

well cloudland has been dominant besides the past couple of years. we just dont have the depth in region 1 to be considered dominant like region 2 3 and 4 do. i have a feeling that cloudland will be back to their old selves next year. but all in all northeast tennessee will produce a dominant team or two but as a whole there is not alot of competition in region 1.

i agree, cloudland is the 2nd best team in the region. i have seen unaka play and they might be the worst team that is 3-0 team i have ever seen. all you hear about dang unaka is estep estep estep. when they start concentrating on the team as much as they do one player they might accomplish something. it seems like cloudland is improving as the season goes along, and they definately have a bright future. good luck!

tim davis from hampton and tim clipse from cloudland have to be at the top. i cant think of any creekers that were any good either.

i think youall will be alright, unaka only beat cd by a td i think. neither of the two teams looked impressive in that game, alot of mistakes were made by both teams. i think cloudland is better than both unaka and cd.

how bout mark byrd. i could go on and on but there is too many to name, but byrd is the best player to come out of carter co.. hampton's adam townsend and b.j. taylor are also at the top of my list.
