  1. If you have been there before then explain draining the field up the hill genius. Oh yeah, I'll take that bet you offered. Can't pass on a sure thing. I believe I can prove you wrong and certainly know you can't prove it. I believe it has been 10 years since the sprinkler system at GP has been used. It stays so damp there that if you waters that field the end up with a fungus. Accusing GP of watering their field is a feable attempt to explain why GP played Rockwood tough right down to the final horn.
  2. I think Brandon and 32Skidoo be the same. Or at least pee in the same pot.
  3. No they don't. I believe when it gets down to it you actually don't have a clue about scheduling. Keep talking about administrators scheduling games. This isn't the NCAA where ADs do the scheduling. Most coaches do there own. Some high schools might be fortunate to have an AD that does. Alcoa has had to get out and hunt some teams to play them because a lot of closer teams that don't have to play them won't. It is alot deeper than your cupcake zone and coacht is really not the place to discuss it. I'm sure that won't happen though.
  4. I believe you just set yourself up. I thought someone posted on here how tough Marion Co. schedule use to be. How there never scheduled cupcakes so there were ready for big games. I figured they surely would have scheduled BA. We got the picture 30 pages ago about you being to dish out the name calling but can't take it youself. How about addressing his questions.
  5. Nice parable. Understand what your saying. But as a fisherman myself can't imagine being bored waitng to catch the biggest bass in the lake. Might be just too big a challenge if you bored. To be honest, big bluegill, light tackle-just as fun as a big lunker bass. But if I was bored (if) I could sit back and let someone else bait the area. Let them use chum, let them put cat food in panty hose and throw it in the lake. Then catch that lunker when he shows up. Hey I've done nothing wrong. I didn't do the baiting that brought in the big fish. But I didn't mind taking credit for the world record though.
  6. Ever thought that I might just be having fun too. Thought I would see if I could get you to ride as much into a post as you and Brandon. Gotta go now and work on my R----skills. Gotta refine them. Because if you don't get caught, then noone can prove it, therefore it never happened and then its ok to do.
  7. Oh my gosh I can't believe someone was so insensitive. Someone said something about BA without facts or prove. Violation of Rule #1 on the BA coacht Board. Get out the crying towels. I forgot 32Skidoo (or Brandon100 or whoever you are since you probably have more than 1 screen name) you were just being sarcastic again. Wanted everyone to believe you're really not like that just jerking everyones chain (especially those dumb hics in East Tenn) so you can sit back and have some fun entertainment. If that's all your after why not go spend your days at Opryland. Oh I forgot it's not there any more. It's Bass Pro Mills now with a few other outlets and shops attached.
  8. Call it emotional if you want. But in East Tennessee we call them fair weather fans.
  9. Guilty dog barks loudest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Your right. I'll edit my post. This is a nice feature. PF players can't edit the fact that the jump on the Helmet midfield at Hammonds field. Some what surprising. Not real classy either. I'm sure Coach Lee will address. Good luck to Coach Lee.
  11. I believe your confusing Jason Layman and James Bates first names. Which brings up a couple of more. The Bates brothers; James and Jeremy. James a great career at U of F and Jeremy first at UT then finishing at Rice (now coaching in the NFL I believe).
  12. Sorry I offended you. Your right Seymour has played 3 schools which are bigger. Heritage and South Doyle have 50 or 60 more students than what was projected for Seymour at beginning of school year. Cocke Co. less than that amount. By the way, the nonconference teams Seymour scheduled, including these 3 teams plus SCHS, have an impressive 4 - 8 record so far. Again sorry about using the word "complaining" I guess whining would have been more appropriate. Lets just leave it with congrats on starting 3-0 and the same to GP for starting 4-0. Good luck the rest of the season and lets pray that both teams have an injury free season. Leave the scheduling to the coaches. I'm sure they have good reasons for scheduling who they do or don't. Both coaches have had great careers and deserve that respect.
  13. Are you sure about that? Better check enrollment figures. Seymour is quite a bit bigger than PF. Are you sure Maryville is moving up next time or just hoping so. I don't see Maryville on Seymour's schedule. Maryville is more comprable in size to Seymour than GP is any way. Why don't you schedule them? You get better playing better competition don't you. Isn't that how the old saying goes? Step up and grab the bull by the horns and ride him instead of complaining because someone less than half your size isn't playing you.
  14. Ditto. One only needs to compare rushing stats to see which team was more physical. Doesn't take a math genius to figure that one out. Beau Dyer 125 yds and Gatlinburg Pittser 98 yds. PF ?
  15. If you were burning hot you wouldn't know it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out? Read your posts.
  17. That's the best you could come up with? About the field, you don't understand sarcasm do you? I could say more but obviously it would go right over your head. TOOT!!!!!!!!!!!! TOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. And that field is actuallly smaller than the one you play on? TOOT! TOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Not really? Why don't you enlighten us on what GP was trying to do? Let's see. Play freshman while letting seniors watch since it wasn't a game? Never confuse a CN Eagle with a Cosby Eagle!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. The score posted for Cosby on Wed April 25 against GP needs to be corrected. The game never happened. It was rescheduled for Fri April 27 but no officials showed up (Imagine that at Cosby!). The game ended up being no more than a scrimmage with GPs JV playing after 1st or 2nd inning. Granted cosbybasketball30 wishes it were a game so his 2 hr would count. Both hit off of freshman JVers, 1 of which had never pitched, long after GPs coached had pulled his seniors. Wow something to remember so you can tell your grandkids later in life.
  21. Not the smartest thing to say in the wake of WV.
  22. You obviously haven't had shoulder surgery? You should try it. Ranks up there as one of the funest things one might do!!
  23. What do you think about coaches that over use high school pitchers? Example; Pigeon Forge had a kid that threw a complete 10 inning game about 2 weeks ago. Coach stated in local paper that he only threw something like 100-105 pitches. People in attendence said he threw at least 150 pitches of not over 200. Any thoughts?
