  1. Grainger's got a great team and great leader in Skylar McBee. GP was both fortunate and lucky. I was going to watch one of the other Sevier County boys teams next weekend, but I looked and none were playing, so I guess I'll watch GP.
  2. Most unbelievable referees I ever saw at a game. Never seen anyone try and help a team like zebras at South Greene. Don't cheapen the great effort of SG players who could have tanked it when they went down 14-0 super quick to GP with GP having no trouble marching right down the field and then had the guts to come back. Guy in the white hat was SG's 12th man and he was a very effective 12th man, kemosabe.
  3. Because most all of HV's yards came on about 6 or 8 plays, the rest were stopped dead. HV beat GP at GP. They've got a good team or that would not happen. SG will be ready to play. SG and HV have a common opponent in CG. It'll be a good game.
  4. GP's played them both. South Greene matches up well. SG was a tougher ballgame. Several long runs by HV on GP who was overlooking them. SG takes it, but will have to play hard.
  5. I didn't mean to offend you. The score was close and it must have been an exciting game. CD is the only common opponent so far and I agree that Friday night's game between GP and SG will probably be close, although GP/CD wasn't and SG/CD was and both games were at CD. GP will be ready to play.
  6. You guys certainly played GP tough last year even though it was not one of GP's best games.
  7. Yea, it didn't go so well did it. It was a good learning experience. Several years later, we faced them again and again we didn't win the game but scored more points than anyone else that year on them except for your own Rebels. They've got a good program in Alcoa, and I'd say, per student, the best in the State of Tennessee, bar none. The best speed in 2A and that's where their real advantage is.
  8. The first six series was about 13 plays. So, that's all the first team played. The second team didn't play much either. The third team played it out through 3 qtrs. GP did not run up the score. Nobody likes to be on the other side of these scores but sometimes they happen. And yes, we've been on the other side of them. GP plays hard every week and respects every opponent.
  9. How do you figure? Zero interceptions for GP. Come on, GP took a knee or it would have been 35.
  10. Others obviously disagree about T. O. After all, he did lead the Tigers in receptions last Friday. That game's over, the Highlander's are focused on HV and PF is focused like a deer in the headlights.
  11. Gatlinburg Pittman has to be in the Top 10. Many people and polls say so and guess what, all of them are aware that GP plays in a relatively weak region.
  12. Same ones that played last year. GP'S defense stingy. You can check out QB at http://footballrecruiting.Unapproved Website/viewp...sp?pr_key=81133. RB has his own website.
  13. This should be a good marker of CG. I'm sure the Virginia team they played was great competition, but maybe this would be a better test. Is Shipley the tall skinny kid?
