  1. Hasnt Bell co played pretty close to Highlands when they have met in the playoffs? I try not to keep up with them unless they are snooping around TN looking for opponents. I also think Alcoa should play more out of state teams like from Georgia and Alabama, but i think that they would match up well against any team they try to play. their run stopping ability is incredible, and overall team speed could overwhelm any team. Just my opinion guys.
  2. Ok, so ive been hearing rumors around the camp fire that a few teams from KY are trying to play Alcoa next year during the regular season. I live right on the border of TN and KY and i played Alcoa two times in my football career. The two teams that are trying to play Alcoa are Middlesboro, a decent team that tried to run the spread this year and hasnt faired too well at it, and Bell county, who runs the dive so many times in a game that you cant keep count, but its effective against the teams they play and they will probably win the state championship doing it. Personally i hope that Alcoa picks Bell because i just really can not stand them and i would like to see Alcoa shut them up. Anyway, if anyone knows anything about this, let us all on here know because it would be great to have a tornado pass through this county and wipe out some bobcats for a change!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  3. Yea, ive heard about greeneville and how "GREAT" they "THINK" they are, but we'll just have to see when next year rolls around. SG is always tough and CG contends every year. Im wishing luck to all these teams in the district, but Greeneville is gonna start whinig in about two years because they will get no respect playing in this region. We all heard the same thing from GP when they were in the region with these teams, and thats just how it is. You can dominate teams and be the "BIG DOGS" during the regular season, but can you do anything in the playoffs? Anyway, good luck to all these teams and these crappy new districts, is it football season yet?
  4. I also heard that SG came out and played well early, but then loudon decided to start playing. Now im not a fan of SG but i was wanting them to win so as to take some heat off of our region. I do however have to disagree with you on your next piont, that loudon would have given up. I have never seen a team in high school football "give up." Teams do not do that unless the score is too large to overcome, and then some teams still give it their all until the very last whistle. Especially with this being a playoff game, loudon would have kept plugging away and eventually turned it into a ballgame. To question a kids want for a win in a playoff game or any game is very dangerous, especially when they have been beaten by teams that are very good and they know that they can play with anyone. So you might want to choose your words a little better when talking about "giving up" in high schol football. Its not gonna happen, trust me. Im still rooting for HV but if youre loudon, you got some bulletin board material now from fanof2aa. Good luck to both sides!
  5. I hope that it can be close and HV rep the region 1 pretty well, but i dont see it. Loudon plays the like of Alcoa, CAK, and Boyd Buc. They are a battle tested team. Hv has only played the region 1 teams that have gotten drubbed by region 2 so far.So i not seeing this one ending well for HV, good luck to both teams and im hoping for a good one. Loudon: 35 HV:13
  6. After seeing Alcoa play im very impressed with how they play defense. Their corners jump routes pretty good and their linebackers are always around the ball. Not too sure about their d-line, in the game where they killed my CG panthers their d-line was spotty. They didnt get real good pressure unless they brought some linebackers or corners off the blitz, not saying that the d-line isnt very good, maybe it was an off night or something but that was just my take on the D. The CAK qb and wr's are gonna have to work pretty hard to beat thoseAlcoa db's. I think they can but then you got the offense to worry about. Then the special teams, they are an all around team. But im hoping that CAK can at least keep it close so that they can show people that Alcoa is beatable an they can be played with. Dont get me wrong, im pulling for Alcoa just because of the respect that i have for them and the tradition they have down there, but im at least looking for a good game. Cant wait to get down there to tornado field and get some more of those awesome "Chicken Sammiches." Good luck guys. lookin for a good one. Alcoa: 41 CAK: 28...two td's coming late in the fourth
  7. Hey big guy. Good job on that W against a team that CG beat. Oh wait, you didnt get that W did ya? CG did get beat by Alcoa the 9 time stat champs, with 4 of those bein back to back to back to back, and most likely this year too. Id like to see you guys throw for 200 yards against Alcoa like CG did. WG, you guys started fast and then got your heads too big and it bit you guys in the butt. Be a little more humble if you ever start out like you did this year. I was rootin for ya, but now im glad you got beat and areright back there with the bottomfeeders in the region. good job on that sub .500 record. CG's was 7-4! Have fun at home, cause you might not make it back to the playoffs again. LOL /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  8. Statisticall you beat CG, but not on the scoreboard! That home cookin didnt even help, your kicker missed it twice and you got beat. Deal with it, HV is gonna beat you on general principle because you guys dont even need to be in the playoffs. Especially not playing HV where CG shouldve been. But thats ok, theres only 25 mins til we find out how much better you guys have gotten. And look up the number to TSSAA and thank them for screwing CG and putting you guys where they shouldve been. Good luck HV and cant wait til next year when WG is right back where they belong, at the bottom.
  9. Thanks guys. You really are good people down there in blount county. Except for the few that started talking crap to our kids as they walke by but other than that i heard nothing bad from you guys and i enjoyed watching you play. All the alcoa fans seem to have a lot of heart and love their team a great deal. The photos that painted bridges put on here were pretty cool too even tho they knocked at our team, its all in good fun. Im glad that we got beat by the team that i can almost guarantee will win state 1,2,3,4, for the fifth time in a row. So good luck and ill be rooting for those kids at the state game and the rest of the playoffs. "Too Hype" was awesome last night, it got me fired up in the stands.
  10. It says youre from bulldog country. I hope thats not claiborne bulldog country because you have no room to talk and you never will. You guys were terrible this year and will never be any good. Hope you enjoy the postseason. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  11. Look i know that your passionate about ur team but u need to chill out. WG isnt gonna dominate or run over anyone. Anyone decent that is. If you do beat HV it will be close and it will be hard. You say that you guys are coming in better than what you were at the starting of the year. That may be true, but what has HV done too? IMPROVED! They wouldntve won region if it wasnt for them playing tough at key times, and a little luck, but they won it. You guys should be happy youre playing HV, because CG stepped in front of a bullet for you guys and are gonna take on the probable state champs. I was rooting for you guys at WG because i wanted to see you have a winning season and do good out of pity but now im leaning towards HV because you just talk too much about something thats not gonna happen............No domination on either side friday night and HV comes out fired up to shut guys like you up that cant quit giving other teams bulletin board material. C'mon. be smart when you talk, just because they dont post on here, doesnt mean the others teams players arent looking and seeing everything youre saying and all its doing is making them want it more.
  12. WOW big guy, you must be proud of that state ring from the stone age! And since the valley and claiborne were laughing stocks then why are u on here anyway? Go to kypreps.com or whatever the site is for kentuckys mediocre high school football teams. Hey i heard that bell is tryin to play either alcoa or maryville instead of teams that are terrible like volunteer. Good luck with that because maryville will dominate you and alcoa will hurt you, thats how they plat. Bell grinds it out and bores people to sleep and to wins. You need to get over yourself bobcat, your ring means nothing to me and means less to everyone else on here im sure. oh and did you ever get a national championship ring there bobcat? Well powell valley produced a player that has 2! Trust me, ive seen a couple of those little state rings that you boys got at bell, theyre "CUTE" compared to the National Champion rings that ive seen. Anyway, im not arguing with an absolute "IDIOT" anymore because its just not worth it. Hope you predict a few more of our games against claiborne so maybe we can laugh at you! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  13. Im going to say that Loudon wins by 14. Loudon: 35 South Greene: 21
  14. GP better hope for a huge rainstorm because CG threw all over them while it was just drizzling, even tho it was in a losing effort, and as bad as i hate to say it CAK can throw it around probably better than CG and they play in the toughest region with one of the toughest teams in the state. Good luck to CAK!
