I think WC does have some talent. But I agree that doesn't always make you a good team. I've seen a lot of talent come through cookeville. You can only coach the team. If the players don't desire to be good then the team will not be good. It takes something special for a country team to compete with the athleticism of teams like riverdale and oakland. Get off of Coach Smith. He has done a lot with a bunch of guys that just want to play ball and not necessarily win. They have just kind of fell apart at the end of a long season.

Once again proving there is a big difference in a AA and AAA team. Livingston is a good AA team but couldn't cut it in a district with athletes. Riverdale and Oakland are for real. Good luck in region Livingston. Beat White House and shut those fools up.

I am not terrel. I wouldn't know who he is if he didn't respond to this post. Your district is crap. Come to AAA and talk some smack. WH was in 9AAA for 3 or 4 years and didn't win a district game. You talk about how great you are and lose to smyrna who was 1-11 in district and 8-19 overall. Gaines is dominant, but the rest of the team is mediocre at best.

Gaines was clearly White House's Best Player. I saw the championship game and Barnes did nothing. I talked to my cousin in Greenbrier who said White House's coachs didn't want Gaines to be MVP for the regular season. He would only say that Barnes was their best player and he deserved MVP. He wasn't even the best player on their team much less the district. Gaines was far and above better.
