I know all about the choking back thing, we have had some hard loss's they were not in the district and they meant allot to the team and it was hard. I just wanted cr to know that we respect their team and I know it is hard when both teams play as hard as they did through these tourney's and I know they will continue to play hard and make us all proud..Good Luck and keep your fingers crossed we just might meet up again...I am a good sport if the ref's don't have a bad call game and you beat us.. /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> Last nights you guys got most of the breaks except for the time out thing I just didn't understand that one.. but it wasn't a game decision call but it was crazy!! ok Devilish, I am going to have to tell on you from last night..She drove last night, for some reason she don't like the stang's nascar way's. We were going down the road like mr magoo.. If you notice that LL sat out also, the ref's last night had a few calls that were qestionable but they at least called it early in the game came out and set the pace and unfortunatly kelly and leonard had to readjust their game and didn't do it quick enough. I think JC offense was a bit better than cr but they stepped up on defense and shut the three down. They had to in order to stop reed and green with those three's.. We had some shot's that just didn't fall and so did cr. I really think it was a good game... Just want you to know if you are from cr we or at least I do have the utmost respect for your girls...It is nice to have someone respect yours as well...They are going to be a handful of people on both sides to talk a lil smack. Like last night we (JC) fan's stood up and congradulated CR girls...and very few did from CR but I appreciate the ones that did. It is hard to lose, we been there and yea it is hard to be happy about a loss but we all have to think that all these girls worked hard to get where there at and it doesn't mean anyone is better than the other. It is who was better at the time...They are all good and well respected in my book..I am happy to be a part of JC fan's and have enjoyed it. All these girls have been wonderful to watch all year. The thing about not clapping for the other team really bother's me. JC fans gave cr a big ole clap of appreciation. I had a guy beside me ask me do you think they really know that we do respect them? My answer is A Loss is hard to swallow, and it is a let down on a good team effort but these are kid's and they both played hard and gave it their all for the game. I personally think that maybe they don't think the other team respects them, I know we have played several teams this year that had the respect for us and JC has tried to repay the favor in cheering on their opponents. Needless to say you are going to have your handful that is going to talk smack and be disrespectful and that is going to be on both teams. People... it only takes one or two people getting up and encouraging a good thing. It doesn't seem hard for them to get of their kister's to encourage a bad thing. Good fan's will encourage good things and I urge everybody to try to do that. Usually if you get to talking smack and someone is trying to ignore it, enough of it and it becomes a problem and the ignoring becomes real problem. It feels real good to get a good win, and the kid's deserve the appreciation of the fan's whether they win or lose. I have met alot of people that we chat with on here and when you do that and talk good competitive ball and can shake another one's hand and go to seperate part of the gym and route your team on and after its over congradulate each other on a win or a lose that's what I love about it..They are good people out there..If we continue to encourage it among ourselves and our fan's the good will out weigh the bad... Good Job on representing the upper cumberland the way these two teams have!!! Good luck to the both of them down the stretch......

Pretty much this way except I think I seen cr play a little better they look tired, far a jc i have seen a better offense game but they did great on defense, but those shots that cd missed she normally don't miss those shot's. If she gets hot and they start to fall well it makes for a pretty good game...CR looked tired to me, they weren't as quick but we all have been through this flu thing the last time we played them we weren't 100% but we struggled and got the win...We are still not 100% healthy got some bumps going on but some how these girls struggle and dig and do a great job to get the w... Good luck to CR just when they don't play us..

Well, options ya made home before i did, and yea the ref's did make a few crazy calls and think we had one he was real whistle happy, but all in all they did ok, and yea i agree it was crazy but both teams I think were trying to call time out and as crazy as it was there was an over turn call,...that call was right cause it was out on us but the overide ref could not have seen that from where he was lol ...options, one thing bothers me , us jc fan's stood up and had all the respect in the world for cr girls cause they played their heart out and we do respect cr for that ,but when our girls got called out there where maybe 10 to 15 people in cr clapped and cheered for our girls... We are good rivalry team but no sense in being bad sports about it.. We do really respect cr they are a good team and our girls had their game face on but they still are not playing the best i have seen...They are doing good!! Well, I know melton07 and ernie are busy and haven't posted, and i am sure they are reading and getting tired of all the questions, but i will tell ya that "fairness" is all that espeicially Me, that is ask of an official, but unless you have attended games as a spectator instead of an official (bias)of course your going to say these things. You might not do some of these things but it doesnt' mean it hasn't been done. We as fan's gripe allot about the officials, for a reason. Yea, it has been said a million times they are going to miss calls but when you get them on one end and the same thing happens two or three times on the other end and it doesn't get called it bothers you. I myself would never want that job, but like they told me when i took mine, you knew what the job was when you took it and if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen...I appreciate the officials that do their job to the best of their ability but they are some that when they hit the floor you can tell how it is going to be period. I said this before, it needs to be consistant from beginning to end whether bad or good just be consistant. How can that be done? I have seen one game all year and will still brag about that game. The officials did a great job yes, they missed a few but they kept control and at the first of the game had it calmed down and the players had at least 2 qrtrs to adjust the way they were calling it. Now, you take three qrts a ref doesn't call certain things and then bam! 4th qrt comes and they call a touchy fouls everytime. Now, What do you call that one? I will tell you my oppinion, it is game control no matter what you or anyone else wants to tell me that is what it is. I just like to see it called from beginning to end. Let the players be able to adjust to the calls and everybody have a fair chance. The officials always want to say we didn't win or lose a game for someone but i will disagree on a few..if you start out calling it one way end up calling it the same. Basketball is somewhat like chess you have to figure your moves out and part of the strategie adjustment is the way an official calls the game... One question for whatever official read and wants to answer, there is a statement of an official comes in from another part of the state and they don't care who wins or loses. Do they Know what the team standings are? Whether they are top in the state or etc?

Most of the time these JC fan's don't imply anything they just tell you straight up what they think.. but it is something about people that love to hate JC and try to start something...

Options i thought the same thing, I can't remember I think it was out of region team and some girl set up under CD and she got banged up really good. and it was called a block foul then i don't know but it is crazy. I know it was said then she would know not to do that again...that is why that all ref's need to be on the same page all the way across the board so that the girls that play a certain way don't get called for it in one game and not called the next..CONSISTANT CALLING WOULD BE A BIG PLUS...also would correct some players bad habit's....I watched both games last night and they were not calling over the back, but nit picking on walking and charges...
