  1. I am going to have to go with Seymour..Assuming Kyle will be on the hill. If not then its a toss up. Heard Rutledge can hit the ball well but does not have any dominate pitching. Good luck to both teams..
  2. I think District 4 Reg 2 is really tough.. Dist 2- Has Loudon, Anderson County, and Catholic at the top right now. Then in the region you will run into Gibbs, Seymour, or Carter.. All very good teams. Then in the sectional you might see a Rutledge or a Peigon Forge.. Wow thats tough!!!!
  3. I agree mostly but i think you have to throw Loudon, Anderson County, Gibbs in the hunt also for AA
  4. Well saying that I don't like AC or Catholic. I can understand the fact that a kid would want to go to a certain school with a good team not just baseball. It happens everywhere. When you get a school that has good team, you are going to have kids want to come play for that program. One, they want to be on a winning team, two if the kid is any good hopefully he will be more easily noticed at this school. You can't blame coaches for kids wanting to come play for them just b/c they have a good program. Its like the stock market you would not invest your money on a business that is losing money, you would want to invest in a business that has stock that is rising. So if you are a good young football player and you had a choice to go to a school thats won like 6 straight state championships or to a team thats went 3-7 which one you going to pick?? For one very rarely do colleges take notice in a team that is losing all the time they notice the programs that are winning b/c they have good players. I am sure AC and Catholic both have players that have transfered for one reason or another. I can't say that i blame them. Both programs are very appealing. Catholic= great facilities, competitive team, and great coach that is well known in high school and college athletics. AC= Facilities are getting better every year, competitive team, and great coach that is well known. Now in my case I go to a school that no one every talks about. Our team is competitive, even though no one thought it would have been, our coach has been around forever but is a good one, unfortunatly we don't have much facilities, hopfully we will one day...
  5. Well just caught todays sports section.. Looks like AC handled the game well..Now maybe all the talking on this post will slow down a bit and more baseball will be played!!!!
  6. So you are telling me that Catholic only has players from the Knoxville/ Cedar Bluff area??? I don't think so..
  7. Stop making excuses for yourself. Be a man and just play ball. They beat us and we didn't cry about it...
  8. Well if CAK was and is the better team they now are 0-2 vs the SKINS, and since last night Catholic is ow 0-1 vs the SKINS so you just keep thinking happy thoughts.
  9. Catholic seems to be pretty good but have a tuff few weeks ahead of them. If they don't play their best it could go down hill quick.
  10. As for the Byrge kid he can run that mouth a little bit but seems to back it up. Sometimes you have to have an attitude to be a confident pitcher. But unfortunatly I can vouch for him since i have faced him for the past 2 years. He is good! We only had one hit against him this year up at AC and they had a gun on him and (supposedly) he touched 90-91 a few times staying upper 80's. So the irish will have their hands full with him. But would not worry about him now b/c the redskin nation is on the horizen!!!
  11. We swept CAK and did not play our best at that. Hope the Irish are not over confident.
  12. Don't worry kobayashi Eating and WINNING come hand in hand...
  13. The Redskins played a great game last night handleing CAK's ace pretty well. Seems to me the best pitcher last night was Mcnew from loudon. He keeped the ball down really well and made CAK's hitters hit his pitch. Keenan (sp) seem to leave the ball up alot. Loudon had him in trouble alot but never really had that one big hit to bust it wide open. Deffense looked great for the redskins especially for their third basemen he was a wall over there throwing out everybody.. Great Game Skins Well for AC and Catholic, Loudon lets coaches and players in free also so don't be afraid to come watch us play either.. The door is always open!
  14. Blake Cosner and Josh Hawkins from loudon can both mash.. Look for loudon to do well this year.
  15. Thanks for your clearing that up for us but we are talking about middle school not high school we already know those rules....
  16. Loudon played Seymour and got beat 6-3 few errors over all a good game for both teams
  17. You are so right!!! Someone needs to tell these private schools ( CAK, CATHOLIC) that they are not in DII anymore so they need to stop recruiting!!! its gettting rediculous. How can all the public schools in the district compete????
  18. CAK will be on top this year.. I promise!!!!!!!!1
  19. Well putting CAK before these teams is easy.. AC lost some very key players from last year.. Loudon lost Justin Thomson who was all they had..They only won when he pitched. Don't know much about Gibbs But they would only see them later in the year..

    CAK

CAK will be really strong this year.. My pick to win the district. AC will be good but lost some key players last year Catcher, SS, 3rd/Pitcher, and centerfielder.. Plus these guys hit all in the heart of their lineup.. With out these guys AC has alot to prove in my book. To me a team lives year to year..Last year is over and doesn't matter anymore. So AC has alot to prove..
  21. Good list.. except for Loudon who has nobody and Covington who lost 9 senoirs last year... I will be very suprised to see these two at the end of the year.
  22. I would have to go with Rutledge, CAK,and Seymore. These teams would have to be on top of me list.
