Have I missed something? The earlier post said Ned Smith slipped through our hands.Where did he go? I am not knocking Smith, I dont know him but TA Dugger could have won the State in Cloudlands Division this year! Eliz should look at more than the directors personal likes and dislikes and do whats best for our kids! Len Dugger, Leon Tolley or Mark Mason would all be quality candidates!

Last time I checked EHS was in Carter County, at least I still pay county and city taxes!

I have not heard anything but as a cyclone, I would be honored to have my son play for Mark Mason,he and Len Dugger are 2 of the most knowledgable BB guys I know!

Oliver isnt even a candidate at Etown,trust me,they barely know who he is!

I hear its a done deal and Alexander doesnt even care what his board thinks! Is this the way an INTERIM Director should be doing things or have I missed something and they have named him Director already? I hear that some of them are 100% for Dugger and the other part is just interested in which of their buddies get the soon to be announced adm promotions.This will get real dirty if Alexander names the new Eliz High Principal which is rumored to be a close friend of the School Board Chairman. Oh well, I guess things never really change do they? I suggest that all BETSY fans contact their school board members and let them know how they feel!

What about this scenario: LEn Dugger doesnt get the Betsy job, but as a way to keep the Dugger faithful happy and do the baketball program justice, hire Leon Tolley as Eliz Head Coach, Tolley makes Dugger varsity asst and JV coach. Hampton takes JR Campbell, Tim Campbell or Ned Smith, all of which would be good hires for them. NOW before you DAWG faithful jump here, I hate for you to get your feelings hurt but, is it impossible to think that Leon has had enough of HAmpton? Wait now, think, Eliz would be more pay toward his retirement, a bigger program and a chance to reunite with Len Dugger. Honestly, that would be a "Bruce Pearl" type move for Betsy. Their program would flourish greatly!

Has anyone talked to the Eliz Board of Education or Mr. Alexander? I dont see the Board turning away kids until a place can be found for them! You should have your ducks in a row and go in half cocked.

Coach Holsclaw was a fine man who came from a fine family! I know that family very well and believe me they are truly one of the finest families in Carter Coutny. John,Willie and their brother, Arthur,along with their sisters have also raised several very fine children and grandchildren. Simply put, GOD has smiled down on the Holsclaw family!

TURNOVERS,TEAM SPEED,LACK OF GETTING BALL TO BIG GIRL ENOUGH AND POOR GUARD PLAY IS WHAT I SAW AFTER TAKING THE NIGHT OFF TO ATTEND THE GAME! I HONESTLY THOUGHT THE BETSY GIRLS HAD THE BETTER TEAM, BUT JUST LIKE THE LADY VOLS ON TV AT THE SAME TIME, IT JUST WASNT THE CYCLONES NIGHT!!!
