  1. I agree!! I thought the refs definitely let the games get out of control from the beginning. I love to see good physical basketball but if I had wanted to see football or wrestling I would have not been at the bball gym last night. I just don't want a player to get an injury because of games like this. I know alot of these kids would like to play basketbal in the future so injuries would not be good. Also games that the refs let out of control usually end up involving the spectators which is definitely not good!!This was the worst game I have seen this season! Go Bees!! #14Davis
  2. It was a very physical game. Upperman stepped up!! I have not seen York play this year did not go to the away game. I have read and heard they have a very good team so I don't know what happened to them last night. They looked lost and confused. Upperman scored on them pretty much at will. Biles, Davis and Dyer had a great game. Hammock came off the bench for Upperman and scored 12 points easily. I thought we could beat York but I never thought by that much. Of course I am glad!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> I heard you had a great game in Livingston. Congrats to all the ladies. Way to go Killer, Shelby and Allisa great job. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />
  3. Did any of d13 teams make it to murfreesboro last year? Did any make it out of region?
  4. Final score upperman 76 york 35
  5. I don't know him but I'm sure he is a great guy. He got into the game and was cheering for the Lady Bees!! Nothin wrong with that!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  6. Both teams played well. But I agree LA left the back door open way to much. But with the way things were going last night for Davis and Dyer it was hard to cover them anyway. Congrats to Jenn for making her 1000th point. I think that makes two of that group that has earned that honor. Davis last year and then Jennifer this year. GREAT JOB GIRLS!! I think Davis(31 points) and Dyer(22 points) really turned up their game last night. They definitely came ready to play. I do think Baxter is getting stronger and playing together better and better as a team. I think Kilgore, Tayor, and A. Sells play a great game last night. They are great ballplayers and great kids as well. As far as the ballerina man? I am from Baxter and we saw him at the JC game and we were wondering who he was also. He definitely got into the game!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Good luck on Friday to all the area teams and everyone have a safe game!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Upperman Bees Fan!! Go #14 Davis
  7. I agree with you totally. I have seen several of these girls play AAU during the summer and they are a close group. You would never know they play against each other during the school season. I know that Davis, Kilgore, Taylor and A. Sells have played together several years. It is sure enjoyable to go see them play then. Great group of people to be around including kids and parents. Glad to see Misty is able to play again. Good luck and have a safe game on Friday.
  8. Great to hear and hope she gets stronger and stronger. Being on the sidelines and doing something she loves is a great motivator. Keep us updated please Upperman Lady Bees Fan!! Go #14 Davis
  9. Just wanted to see if anyone has an update on the Grundy County coach. Have not read anything in a few days and was on my mind. Sending prayers from Upperman Fan Go Lady Bees!! #14 Davis
  10. It was a great game. I love going to Livingston and playing because the atmosphere is so good. Everyone is really friendly and the attitudes were great last night. Great job lady Wildcats!! Kilgore, Taylor and Sells(bubbles) played an awesome game very proud of you. Fantastic job Lashay and Dyer for the lady Bees!! Both teams played some great defense and offense. When these two teams play you never know who will come out on top. Last night was Uppermans night but you never know next time. I am sure they will meet several more times this season. I am sure it is hard for some of these girls to play against each other after playing as teammates during AAU. They play hard on the court and set with each other after its over. That is great sportsman ship and love of the game. Also contribute this to great parents and families. I still say we are lucky to have such great girls bball players and teams in this area! Go Bees!! Go #14 Davis
  11. Thanks C U tonight /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. I have been to lots of games in JC in the past years and now. I have never felt scared at the games. Everyone yells at the refs. So what thats part of it. I have always been treated very nice when I have attended games there. I go to the bathroom by myself never thought about it feels same as being at our home gym. Everyone should support their team that is the reason you go to the games. I attended a game in GA at a high school a few years back if JC scares you don't go to Atlanta and go to a game.
  13. I am at work and on coacht. Got to get some Bball info or day wouldn't be complete!!
  14. I think it will be a good game. Good luck to both teams! Hope they have a safe and fun night. See you in JC /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" /> Upperman Fan Go #14 /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  15. Look forward to a good game. I wish both teams good luck and a safe game. As long as they have fun and do their best I will be happy and proud of all of them. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  16. You are right I'm so sorry I forgot Kelsey. I knew there was somebody but could not remember. She was absoutely a big asset and was so glad her surgery went so well. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

  19. You are so right. I love to get on here and read about all the teams and kids and get all the scores. I am proud of all the kids on the teams and for all the effort they put forward. Building confidence is important and by talking about these kids is not doing that at all. There is always people from every area that has negativity toward some kids you just have to learn to overlook them. It is great to hear from you and look forward to Fridays game. Good luck to JC and the girls from an Upperman fan. They have a great team and hope its a good game.
  20. There you go again picking on the kids. If you keep up you would know that a different girl usually is the high scorer each night. Friday it was Dyer last night it was Roberts. Look at the assists fron #14 and you will see it is not all about the points. Some nights it is her night and some nights its someone elses time to step up. That is how you play as a team. The Upperman girls play very well together and spend alot of time together off the court also. They are a close team. There are several young players and they are getting stronger every game. Roberts, Carter, Biles and Hammock are stepping up and doing a great job when needed. Upperman lost Taylor, Simmons. Borsgenson, and Tisdale were the four that graduated I think and this year they have one senior Watson which has had several good games this year also. They have 3 girls on the team that played alot last year so they have alot of growning and maturing to do as a team. Someone has to be a leader and that is what Davis is. Give credit where credit is due. I go to almost every game and I just don't see where you see that one player makes all the plays?? Watch the team and stop focusing on just one player and pointing her out no names were mentioned but you have already posted the same thing once with the name. Just be happy that girls bball is so strong in this area and we have so many good players on all the area teams.
  21. You know I have only been reading coach t for 2 days now and it looks like to me there are alot of jealousy out there. I think it is a sad world to see adults and parents talking about kids the way they are. I have 1 child and he dont play any sports now (thank god) and to sit and read what I have about some of these kids knowing that its the adults and parents saying these things, it's sad. If you have to single out a player and make remarks like this maybe you just need to stay home and not watch any games. I go to alot of the basketball games because I enjoy watching, and from what I see all schools have there favorite player(s), so why single out certain ones. Sounds like it all is alot of jealous parents to me. Just really glad my child dont play sports anymore and have to read comments like that about him. I know for a fact that these girls read and see this and how do you think it makes them feel to see someone single them out because they are good???? All just need to let the girls on all teams have fun with what they are doing thats what it's all about.
  22. Maybe you should let the coaches coach and the players play. Thats why parents set on the side lines. Every girl on that Upperman team has done their part of scoring this year if you watched. Every game someone has stepped up. This includes Dyer, Maynard, Roberts, Carter,Watson, Biles and Hammock. These girls give 100% as a team it just happened to be Davis' night. I don't always agree with Dana's ideas sometimes but that is part of it. It did work last night. So try something different next time. Dyer had a hard time with Helton they were pretty good matched. I think the Lady Bees have alot of talent on the team all around. I go to all of their games and everyone gets their chance to shine. Its the same in Gainesboro all you here is LL everywhere you go and there are lots of girls on that team that deserve credit also. There is alot of talent there. Jim Brown is the same way. He always tries to work one girl usually his post. I just don't think its right to down a player because she had a good game. If you read the paper today you will see everyone got credit. If you knew the Davis player you would know she is not like that at all. She is a team player. I do agree that Upperman should have won more than one gold ball, but take it out on the coaches not the kids and you might not give a rats behind about the colleges but if your child was being scouted by them you probably would just ask some of your jc team players. I'm sure they care about the colleges if that is the goal they are working for by playing bb. Anyway I hope that both teams have a good game and all the players have a great game. Just remember some of them may play for the same college someday.(teammates)
  23. Excuse me when you play hard you should get a chance to score. If some of the team is cold which is what happened last night then somebody has to step up and is exactly what DAVIS did. If it had not been for her they would have lost. She scored more than half the points herself. The ball was in the hands of all the other players on the Upperman team plenty last night they just could not do anything with it. Thank Goodness they had Davis or they would have been in trouble last night. It was just her night to have a good game it will be somebody elses the next time. If you knew how many people in the crowd come to see Davis play you might think they way you do. Sounds like a little jealousy to me? Ask all the colleges that have contacted her how they like to see her play
