Clarksville played a tremendous game with 5 OT's under their belt in 2 days. You all have a good team and I hope well for you all in the future. Great comeback and excellent student section. The comeback in the end started to make me think we might not win. Luckily we have clutch players in Damron and Click. Obviously Damron hitting some clutch shots in the end and Click hitting the game winner. Anyways, what a great year for Maryville sports, football and basketball. Great game Clarksville.

Did Maryville handle the cats - Yes Okay, I was at the game and am going to tell you what I thought about it. This game was full of emotions. At first, I was thinking, you know, Maryville will win. Then Clarksville started to come back and I got to thinkin, with the momentum changing, we might not win. Then it was going into overtime and I was thinking, we are not gonna win. Well, anyways, I am sure both teams were very tired and the refs could have been better, they called bad calls both ways. Anyways, how about Jordan Damron. He hit some super clutch shots in OT and probably contributed to the win. I think the winning play was when Aaron Douglas's athleticism kicked in and the ball was going out of bounds, he grabbed the ball and hit it off the clarksville legs, WOW. Then, obviously at the end, Ryan Click hit the game winner. Man, screw last nights game, this game was so much better, especially with the game winner. Now I will laugh heavily at he Clarksville people so here it goes. Oh yeah, and Who dat, who dat, who day gonna beat Maryville. Well, apparently nobody because we are not just the best in football, but it looks like basketball to. Ha, maybe some day some other schools can win. JUST LIKE FOOTBALL!!!!!

Our soccer team thinks they can beat you all. The coaches guarentee they will win the district championship, however, the other coach thinks the team this year is a "championship team."

We dont recruit I guarentee you. All the other teams are just being ###### and trying to find excuses for the reasons we keep winning. We just have amazing coaches and dedicated players. Keep in mind to that on the basketball team we have three players in the national honors society. If we recruited, which we dont, we would have had players like Brandon Warren, Dustin Lindsey, and the Walker brother at William Blount. There are plenty of schools with just as talented players as us, it is just that our coach knows how to build the team around them. Quit your whinning.

I would not say Maples and Douglas are selfish, you also see Basile and Damron have excellent games. Thanks for the backup by the way and dont forget, your Panthers did beat us in the region championship game, unfortunately for you all, you were put against a tallented Oakland team first round. I cant wait to arrive in Boro tomorrow, the environment will be electric and I am hoping for a full Hale Center. Maryville travels pretty well, that is if the fans realize they need to come to this game. In football, there were more fans at the state game than at home games, however, at home games, a lot of people stand behind the stadium and talk, sort like it is more like social event than a sporting event. Anyways, I just can not wait and it should be an extreme game.

I am sure they will sleep very well tonight, like 12 hours. So will maryville, Douglas and Maples have playoff experience and know how to manage their time, however, that was football which was week to week not day to day.

I might add that if I were Bruce Pearl, I might pay a visit to Tyler and Aaron once they are in college. I mean, we are seeing Tyler guard some of the premo players in the state that are going to D1 colleges!

I am mainly referring to the poll post where nearly everyone was saying you all would roll over every team in tournament. I still respect Oakland, you all sound like a tough B-Ball team are apparently are after the amazing game the players played. I will say it is pretty cocky that the guy made the post before the game was even over, but it appeared to be right.

Im pretty sure Maryville will be in a hotel. We are on spring break so there is no school. However, when we won the football champioship in 2004, there was an alchohol problem in the hotel with the players and then, the coaches decided the players would go home that night. Both might be a possibility (leaving or staying).
