Temple will destroy copper basin, Temple is just way way better, copper basin is not not as established as Temple- and with all Temple's new athletes- look for temple to win out the rest of the way- Temple's new coach is so brilliant and with all his experience he will have these new athletes on track aftre beating C.B. and F.R.A. then they will beat LV SP and DB- SPyou say?? yes temple will shock them this year just like last year- maybe a little closer of a game- but temple finishes season 5-5- just too many good people over there....

my only point was that the kids who were already at temple- or already enrolled/paid etc... were the ones that people screwed up with...no one was illegally obtained...temple just screwed up with the kids they had Zone- your stupidity and bitter hatred blinds you- no one illegal was obtained, and no one was illegally obtained to come to temple- SP got crushed with the kids that were already there - again- if larson doesn't participate in that spring game he is a normal student and perfectly legall...and you get crushed by Temple regardless...skogen had been there since 6th grade(according to Noway) so he was there regardless of how his situation got screwed up... that is my point.... the mistakes...all of them (I think) were after the fact....not done in order to ensure success

If you can name one kid (who participated athletically) and has had some sort of impact (even miniscule) on a season-- who would not have gone to temple b/c of rules...or who illegally came to temple...I will give you 100 dollars.... The kids at temple- beat the kids from every other school- they dominated...that is why people are mad.... Larson would have still gone to temple- he just wouldn't have been aloud to participate in the spring...that would have changed nothing... the skogens, wadleys, mouws, were all deep temple people because of family... and you cannot name one kid who illegally participated in a season at temple.... Larson is as close as you can get and that was just sheer ignorance that allowed him to play in the spring...but he was enrolled in temple and had already paid his fines....he was coming to temple....no one else was illegally obtained....every kid that was there was there...and beat whatever school you are from in basketball (probably always) and football last year....this makes people mad...very mad apparently... and very bitter as well...so everyone just vent and keep venting b/c all you have are infractions of ignorance that have no affect on everything that temple has accomplished...

THat was already looked into- and yes he did....full tuition...that is not what it being looked into- now everything illegal surrounds chastain Good post pasture...

It is not an advantage for kids to get a scholarship to TTU- that university is a joke- they do not even have enough Dr. s teaching to be a legitamate university- their education is WHAT IS WRONG with the educational system in america- if you go to that school and actually try to get a real job that requires an undergraduate degree- people just laugh at you- a kid who was way younger than me tried to get a job teaching and coaching at a high school and the high school made him retake all of his classes for his business major- another guy a know tried to get into a graduate program and had to go to UTC to retake all the classes for his major and then get his degree from UTC.....that he77 (flip the 7's) hole is a joke and not an advantage to anyone- especially the people that go there....

Pasture- just so you know it is every coach's responsibility to KNOW the rules- if someone cheats out of ignorance it is still CHEATING...it doesn't matter how stupid you are- stupidity/ignorance is no excuse for breaking rules... I think all this crap coming out about Temple might shed some light on why coach skogan got out and took his boy with him... coincidence??? I think not... Leave it to temple to screw themselves with who they hire...the new principal must be a moron...the AD might be the only good thing they have over there...and now he is in a war to save football and basketball from the look of things...

Here is what I know. Chastain just didn't get it when it came to TSSAA rules about recruiting. He was out there doing stuff that made folks suspecious, angry and possibly, (emphasis) breaking rules. Temple was hearin all kinds of stuff almost daily about him not representing them in a way that had integrity and so thought it best to cut him loose. Problem for temple is that the new guy aint a football guy, everyone I talk to says he is a great bb coach and will be a very good AD but not football. Chip Kell steps up but if you remember him from SE Whitfield, play callin aint a strength, although if anyone can teach kids to block he's the man. With this change I see Temple goin 0-10. Before, with Chastian, I thought they would be 0-10, but now it will be an 0-10 with some integrity. Integrity aint gunna score tds but it does count for something.

I also think he will do well he is a great guy, and I think he is a great choice....I simply went off on Temple's administration for previous bad decisions, oh yea and he did make a dumb comment in the paper...I think caleb could the perfect guy for the job because of his enthusiasm and POSSIBLE longevity of his coaching career... (if he doesn't get so fed up with the administration that he quits...)

Alright well first before I take a potshot at Pearson (in honor of my agreement with some of what pasture has to say recently); I need to go off on Pasture... alright....Scott Chastain as AD??? have you lost it man??? He hides the truth, he tells people one thing is going to happen, or that things are a certain way that he wishes they woule be BUT IN REALITY they are not....he would have been a terrible AD, especially given his bias with the entire football thing...he so badly wants to be right, and actually have a team...and a good one (which will never happen) he would spend all the money in athletics on football. You say he has proven himself capable????? After ONE YEAR of jumping on the banwagon of an extremely talented team....what did he do??? nothing...ask the players...the team would have done the exact same thing with or without chastain... The fact is Pearson wouldn't know a good athletic decision if it slapped her twice and jumped on her back!! She proved that in the McCormick coaching decision, Not trying to get Greg (at least not tyring hard enough), hiring chastain to be the head football coach(this will be proven with the success of the football team next year), and hiring rob eldridge at all (obviously a mistake b/c then she turns around and "fires" him, and she should have known that Hunt refused to hire him 3 years in a row!!) Could temple have done better....sure but something you need to understand about that place is that the CHURCH controls what goes on...Pearson is just a bad-decision-making-puppet..... The people above chose who will do what...if you are apart of that place you get first dibs.... I think Caleb could do a good job(I guess he better if they are paying him so much)....I do agree he has one strike in the batter's box for that ignorant comment....

it was double overtime- but everything else you have is correct??? why would anyone want to bring those days back???? anyway...as to redandwhiteforever... I think there is pressure b/c the school has had so much success in basketball, with no money, no boosters, no facilities...and they still do well....people (administration) think the basketball program doesn't need those things to have success so he will continue not to get the support he will want and need, and if basketball doesn't do well he has no excuses....I think that is pressure...cause administration expects to win, and make money from bball, so do the alumni (all 13 of them) who support the school... 19591959...Temple isn't much of a business....in fact in matters of business it is quite pitiful....He can't do any worse than what has already been done...so the only place to go is up....
