Once again I am not a Falcon. And if you read the other post (about Bearden and the state championship) you will read where i said Bearden is the best team in East Tennessee. I will be on coacht regardless either you win or lose

Ha ha both AE and Fulton didnt play well. Im not a falcon by no means. I just like good team basketball and they best team basketball around is at Fulton. But yeah Bearden will end in disappointment like always

Beardne is not 14 points better than Fulton. I watched Fulton play and they played aweful yea maybe Bearden had something to do with it. Get off their bandwagon because its only going to end in dissappointment

As much as I would like to see Bearden lose its not going to happen tonight. Fulton has the coaching and talent to win this game so i believe it will be close. Fulton has the best coach and the two best players in area (besides hood from lc) on their team. We will see what happens. Bearden by 10

I agree downtown but that White County had more than just Brent Jolley. I had the pleasure to watch them on several occasions and your right not as talented as the PC team they beat or the Columbia team they beat the same year but that WC team was alot more talented than this Bearden team and alot better coached as well. I do believe Bearden will make it to the boro. They are the best team in East Tennessee but they are not as talented than even the teams in middle tennessee and their coach is average at best. Yes he has won a lot of games but with some of the talent that comes through Bearden thats going to happen. Gotta win a Gold Ball before I would consider him a great coach

Are you sure your just from Loudon and not Missouri? Most loudon people are dumb too. You must not watch much basketball here in Tennessee do you? Bearden is the best team in East Tennessee there is not question. But to say they can compete with the likes of Memphis is just plain out DUMB and with you saying that shows how dumb you truely are (not to mention from loudon). Bearden barely beat Fulton and it took the likes of the terrible refs to rescue them there. So please dont EVER tell me not to respond to something. I do not care if you have family that teach or attend that has nothing to do with it. Bearden will end the season empty handed yet again. They play no one in Tennessee besides of Fulton and AE. They did beat AE but beat Fulton by 4 and only reason that happened was because of the terrible refs. Should i continue?

I am talking about Blake Jenkins from Bearden. And why is because he is slow, cant shoot, loses composure, and doesnt play a lick of defense. thats why. plus you ahve the likes of jaleen steele, the mcbee kid, tyler hood, james gallman, the jones kid from AE (#5)

I'm from Knoxville and i agree maryville probably wasnt the best team in 07 and Fulton probably wasnt in 08. But they had coaches that are GREAT coaches.. best coaches in east tennessee. Bearden is big and so was Maryville back when they won the state and also had some shooters. This Bearden team is big and cant shoot that well from the outside, they tend to get out of control and lose their composure.

TraderB, when i say White Station will win I was stating that because I knew they returned a lot from last years team that got beat by Ridgeway. If they can make it out of Memphis then they have a good shot. Memphis teams are way more athletic, tall, quick, etc. They are better at every aspect. Bearden is good not too mention they do not run 6'5, 6'5, 6'6, 6'7, 6'10 i promise you that. Simpson is 6'8 maybe 6'9. Parker is around 6'4(probably their best player), Jenkins 6'5 or 6'6. and the other boy is around 6'5....they are not at athletic as they think they are either. Its just that the level of basketball here in Knoxville area is not as good as it has been in the past. Not saying that dont have stand out players because they do but team wise they are down. I do believe Bearden makes it to the boro and loses quick to whomever they play as long as its not an East Tennessee team. I have watched Bearden too much and I also have had the opportunity to watch those memphis teams play and they can it. Now every now and then a team from the east will bring home the gold ball like in 07 with Maryville and 08 Fulton.

More stupidity from bearden people. Tyler Hood may very well be the best player in the region. He is better than Beardens top6 maybe besides parker. Simpson and jenkins are not better. too one dementional.

Wow is all i can say with this reponse. You must not have watched Memphis teams very much because all those teams are just as big as Bearden and A LOT more atheltic. Simpson can make good grades but if he doesnt make that certain score on his ACT he isnt going anywhere. I agree he can play at UTC but mid major is the best he will do. Blake Jenkins can be recruited by anyone but doesnt mean he will play. Because he wont there. and they are a below average ACC team. He will not step foot on the floor there. Parker is probably their best player and like to watch him play but he is mid major at best as well. Dont get me wrong they have a lot more talent than anyone around East Tennessee but not even close for the teams out west. and i have watched Bearden play about a dozen times this year. Oak Ridge was better than Bearden last year. They had better team players but they ran into a BIGGER more TALENTED team in White Station who lost to Ridgeway in the finals. Maryville did win it a few years ago but and i quote " Coach Elderidge is a better coach than Blevins". Bearden is deep for now while in East Tennessee but that second five is weak besides the big guy who could start for a lot of schools in ET. I want the East to bring back the title like Fulton did last year but not going to happen in any classifications this year. AS for AE they are NOT the best team in their district or region. Look they best Fulton twice this yera and do every year but when it comes tournament time they cant beat fulton. That might change this year but until they beat Fulton then NO they are not the best team in the district. Fulton lost twice to them last year during the season and Fulton beat them by i believe 20 in the district finals and by 40 in the region finals. Coach mitchell is a joke over there. Should be winning titles instead losing in district finals and region finals.

This is one of the dumbest post of all times. Bearden does NOT have a chance of winning the state. Memphis teams have about 8 or 9 of those guys listed at 6'5 or taller not just 4.... Simpson is not the best big man in the state and will not play D1 ball unless its in a small school like a tennessee tech or something close not to mention cant pass his ACT...Blake Jenkins couldnt start at any school out there......he is not good enough and the team is slow too not fast. I have had the pleasure of watching them play and they are good dont get me wrong the best in East Tennessee by far but they would fall around 5th or 6th out in Memphis. I have had the privilage to watch those teams out in Memphis and they are good teams. I think its funny how Bearden fans get on here talking about how they played Oak Hill tough. Thats great they are not what they use to be....and how they Beat AE...AE isnt even the best team in their district or region..why brag about that? Bearden is in for a rude awakening when they get to the boro

They will lose to a team in TN..trust me..they dont even compare to the teams out west in any aspect whatsoever. I will say White Station will be your champion this year and bearden will make it to state but lose in first round. Not near talented enough.
