Smyrna is my favorite to win the region and State........

CEntennial Did a real good job against smyrna.......There defense held smyrna to 0......they Had an excellent TAilback....He ran most of the TOuchdowns on small Stop routes.....

Smyrna did a Pretty good job with the talent they had i think.First Off....Rodriguez Wilks isn't Smyrna's whole Team.....i believe theres 11 players.....Stepping up and Taking his spot for yesterday Was Senior Jesse Torres Who made some Terrific Catches in traffic....had 2 touchdowns.....The other Receiver to stepp up was a Small Inside Receiver by the name Of Gage Quibodax....he made some Good Catches...Jerimiah Bryson did a great Job at Eceiver and found himself a New home on offense.........ON Defense Due to One of the Starting Cornerbacks Not there ...Senior David Sanders Step up and played corner.....i Watched and i Notice they Picked on him all day....Because of his Height...but They was Wrong About this kids Talent.....He got an 2 interceptions......at the Other cornerback Spot Junior Cleave Shaw Covered well....Not Allowing anything on His side.....Not even a completion....He is an Underated player on this team........At Free....due to that rod is At Florida on a visit.....Junior Garret Singalton Did A great job...Josh daye Ran His huddle as if it were a real game....he Did a great job yesterday too......they went 3-3...but The coach Said coming into this Tournament......"We are here to see you compete...we Want to see you compete..and give effort....i dont Care if we lose all of them"........as long as we Give effort and compete.....

Back in 1997 and 98. Riverdale was a football team. a team of men .and team of heart and a team of will....Now i never played high school football, but i did watch it as i do these days.Riverdale was a BIg team,scary almost like they were Grown men.and every play you could hear the opposing team players groin with pain. i wasnt shook to see them take the title home in 98.these days Riverdale is still that way,there still Big, scary and Wise.but I think riverdale has lost its point of high school football ..and thatsits RICH Tradition. i was very very very disappointed to see riverdale fall to oak ridge in 2005 . i wanted to see riverdale excell and be back on the throne.To get back to the question of how they will respond....Thats up to riverdale..and Yes riverdale is still the POWERHOUSE of 5A....riverdale could go 3-7 and still be the POWERHOUSE you know why ...answer this How many teams are willing to jump the gun and play riverdale?....each year Not many.... I believe Riverdale will have to Obtain its Power and fair very well this year.....cause if they dont Smyrna Might become The New...... RIVERDALE.......

Yes indeed a great group of kids.i expect them to do great but keyword kids..high school football is a teenager sport and in my mind and may others is way different then middle school.Im not saying some of these kids want see time im just saying that when you put a middle school running back in a high school football game...that may spell trouble...thats why they let them come up to varsity to watch and learn to get the feel of the game..im pretty sure reggie bush his freshman year didnt play in high school......And I ve heard of the texas football star...but i havent seen him much to know his abilities....

Deion wade was great in the weight room....Excellet Squatter....Bench very good...same as for sam youree....But when practice was held he just didnt have to speed of a Jonah.i believe they wanted him to play another position besides cornerback,because of Juinor talent Cleave shaw Showing up in the weight room....and i believe thats why he went back.....

I think they might be talkin about deion wade...from my knowledge he went back to oakland.....
