Cubscout you need to stick to the matter at had. I`m not going to argue with anybody on a message board. I`ve forgotten more ball than you`ll probally ever know. Me and Binns have been friends probally longer than you`ve been born.Your just sucking up to somebody over umpires. Whatever happend in the Murf. has nothing to do with this. Maybe you need to mow more grass with your cadet. Binns knows who I am and I`m jerking his chain. I don`t need your equip either I`m a retired umpire and still have my own buddy! You can bet I was a hellva lot better than u too. I`ve seen u work. Maybe u need to just mind your own business. Some of you clowns make me laugh.

Binns the more I read this post the madder I get. You telling L.C. fans not to cry over spilled milk. Your umpires need to know the rules or don`t be on the field! Balls and strikes and safe or out are one thing but 2 umpires not having a clue on a not so hard call is a joke. Maybe it`s time for you to move on and get over scheduling umpires! I`m sure you don`t have to tell L.C. how good Coffee is either. Sounds to me like u might have something aganist L.C. I didn`t think u were like that Binns. You suprised me with this post. I`ve known u for a long time can`t believe u would post something like this.

It doesn`t matter how many umpires u use if none of them know the rules! One blown call can cost a game also been around ball for 50 years. Instead of 0 outs and runners on 2b and 3b you have 1 out and a runner on second. LC got beat by 1 run. Binns don`t make excuses for your crew. It was a good game . Lawrence is a good hitting team. Wish them luck.

That`s my whole point! I talked to Binns Jordan after the game and he admitted they blew it. Didn`t know the ump and coach were fishing buddies though. That could get interesting!

I didn`t say he favored them. I said there were 2 blown calls that went aganist Lincoln County. Thats part of baseball ; but the 2 calls I saw were umpires knowing the rules and they missed both of them. I didn`t care who won I was just watching a great baseball game. But a game of the much importance it`s sad you have 2 umpires that don`t know the rules.

Was at the game and didn`t have a kid playing for either team but Lincoln County got 2 terrible calls.It`s not wrote down you will win it cofounded! unless yall have the same 2 umps the rest of the tournament.

Does anybody have a schedule for the tournament; as far as who plays who, dates and times? How did the seedings come out; heard Lawrence got 1 and LC got 2. What about everybody else?

I`ve been around the game along time. No coach should let a parent or parents interfere with what he as a coach is doing PERIOD! It`s not worth it.

You mean to tell me a high school coach had to leave the game he was coaching in to talk to an upset parent? Thats sad! What about the other kids playing the game?There`s a time and place for everything; have enough respect for the coach and other kids and talk to him after the game if you have a problem.

Lawrence should sweep FC and Columbia should sweep Tullahoma. Who knows with LC and Shelbyville ;wasn`t at the games this weekend but I hear LC has problems off the field(as in parents). Thats a shame because LC has alot of talent; just hasn`t gotten it all rolling yet. Coach needs to nip that stuff in the bud quick. It`sad because the kids are the ones who suffer.

Was at the game also. Lovett pitched a heck of a game; no hitter till the top of the 6th with 2 outs and LC CF got a hit. Columbia`s cf took 2 LC hits away with 2 awesome plays. Columbia had their chances but couldn`t get the hits when they needed. 2 evenly matched teams. I was impressed with how Lovett hit his spots; good pitcher.Both teams will probally meet again come district tourney time.I heard a LC fan say that was the first game of the year they haven`t out hit the other team. Good luck to both teams the rest of the year.

As far as fundamentals and coaching I have too agree, Columbia`s Pickle probally the best. I don`t judge a coach by his won- lost record.I`ve never seen him lose control; a class guy.Columbia is lucky to have him.
