I pick Lawrence County to advance. Alot of players with talent - hit well and appear consistent.

Where the standings at this point? Who is leading the district?

I have watched Lawrence County's outfield play several games this year. They all get a good jump on the ball and cover alot of ground. One of the games I watched was the Lincoln County/Lawrence County game at Lincoln County. Hartsfield who plays centerfield for Lawrence County played one awesome game.

From reading the posts on here it seems a team is being overlooked. (Lawrence County) I have looked at their record and they should be contenders. They are currently 11-4 on the season and 3 - 1 in the district. Lawrence County won the Courier classic in Hardin Co. several weeks ago over several ranked teams. I think this district will run a close one all year.

trying to get some info about the Courier Classic in Savannah. Always has ranked teams. Does anyone know what teams played in it and who won.? Who played well?

Here is some humor on the game. Ronnie and Janet Hartsfield are married. The coach of Lawrence County -(Coach Scott) is the niece of Ronnie (Ronnie's brothers daughter)- AnnMarie Lanning is the niece of Janet. ( Janet's brothers daughter) I am a friend of both families - the Hartsfields and the Lannings and they are all very close - lots of love. I know they hate to see this matchup have to happen so soon. I guess Ronnie will sit on one side and Janet on the other. Actually I have talked to them both and they say they just wish they could both win. I guess they will sit in the middle???? Good luck to both teams.

Does anyone know if the game can be picked up on coach t. We are in Lawrence Co and the local radio station is not covering the game

Matt Hartsfield has rushed for over 1100 yards this year in 4AAAA. He is one strong back. Great kid with a great spirit. His older brother was Jay Hartsfield. I noticed someone had recommended Jay in an earlier post but they must have meant Matt although Jay and his older brother Nathan have both played for Lawrence County and proved to be very valuable to the Lawrence County team. Matt has scored 13 or 14 touchdowns this season.

I think it will be a great game. Feel like Lawrence County will come out on top by 10.
