96 wow...sounds like a top 10 in this year draft. Not to many pros can hit 96.

Looks like OR will have 3 sophs and 5 seniors starting. With Mason Guymon at cather and looks like the 2 sophs Woullard and Morgan Guymon at short and 2nd OR could be solid up the middle. Pitching looks above average with Williamson and Brent anchoring the #1 and 2 spots. The question mark is the outfield positions where freshman Mckinnion Guymon could easily take a spot from one of the seniors.

Oak Ridge wins 6-5 in 11 innings.....Heck of a game. OR scored 3 runs in the top of the 11 innning with Karns scoring 2 in the bottom halve. Karns had the bases loaded with 2 outs when their #2 hitter lined out to short on a 3-2 pitch. I think the tie breaker is either strength of wins or losses in the District.

Oak Ridge is 9-2 in the District. They have 3 district games left, 2 with Karns and 1 @ Campbell Co. I watched the OR/Powell game tonight and Powell will give Halls a good battle. I think if OR and Halls splits next week games against Karns and Powell they will very happy. I think Karns only have 3 losses in the district...so watch out. Does anybody know the tie-breaker rule if OR and Halls tie at 2 or 3 losses each?

The thing about high scholl baseball is batting average. That what everyone wants to know. Here is the kicker to that, how many parents keep stats for the high school coaches? How many players or assitant coaches keep the stats? No matter what is posted on the stat sheet, how correct are they.

The last 2 weeks will determine the district champ. Powell vs Oak Ridge and Karns vs Oak Ridge. Now, How do you all think the district tournament will pan out? Looks like a 4 team battle

OAk Ridge has Knocked off Ooltewah 6-5. Bradley Central 11-10 and Cookville 4-2 in their last 3 games. If their pitching holds up they will be competitive. Still have tough district games remaining starting this week with West, then Powell and Karns. They are starting 3 freshmen which is tough but have a 12-4 record, best start in the last 15 years at Oak Ridge.
