Can someone point me to the rules on shingaurds this year.
Also, what are the rules on playing with casts. I've seen different refs say bubble wrap, foam, and some say you have to have wear a custom made pad.
Any web links would be appreciated
I know HS switched to Select as the official ball, but which one are you using and why?
Brilliant Super?
Royale?
Super IMS?
Does Middle School have an official ball? If yes, is it Select also?
Thanks,
Who did Independence lose from last year and who do they have returning?
I like Independence but am curious what vaulted them to number 1?
Any specifics.
Last year the refs kept mentioning next year that all players had to have longer shin gaurds.
Does anyone know the exact details on the new shingaurd rule?
Also, I think it may be the same rule that travel soccer has had for a few years. Travel doesn't enforce the rule.
Will the TSSAA refs enforce the new shin gaurd rule?
I just don't understand how most of the states in the U.S. play soccer in the fall but Tennessee can't, won't or just doesn't want to? Why?
For Travel players they could do some better tournaments. For High School they could do more regional games.
Why does Tennessee play boys high school soccer in the Spring?
Most other states play in the Fall.
Is it something we can change?
It seems like there would be more regional high school games if we played on the same Fall schedule.
On a related note. How do you guys keeps stats. Shots on goal. Are you just counting shots on frame or are you counting anything within 3 or 4 ft of goal? What is the technical definition for shots?

Back to one of the original questions. Does anybody know when most other states play boys soccer? Spring or Fall?
From what I've seen most other states have Boys H.S. in the fall and Girls H.S. in the Spring.
Football seems the most logical explanation. But other states play better football than Tennessee H.S. right?
