looks like someone wants to be on the all district team pretty bad.

i would still love to know why everyone thinks maryville should still be ranked ahead of south doyle.

half by half score was, first half 1-0 sd... then it ended 5-2 sd. im not very sure. they play two totally different styles. but i would say pf b/c their ability to shoot on frame.

5-2 sd wins.

chill out nednatterjack. no one ever said that was an excuse for a loss. we might have 13 seniors but one of those cant play b/c of academics and two of the seniors havent played in 8 years. so chill out. South Doyle isnt looking for a excuse. it was just a topic starter. and no one ever said that south doyle was so great. people said that they arent getting the respect they deserve.

terrible call. was the worst call I've ever seen in a match ever. you must play for Seymour, "easttnref" because if you were there and saw it, you would agree it did not deserve a straight red.

I totally agree. The shot count was definitely more like South Doyle - 17 Seymour - 5. but credit is due to Seymour, yes but once again South Doyle gets screwed when they have certain refs officiating the game. but "R. U. R." is totally correct at saying South Doyle needs to finish better. the finishing in the game today was awful. but Seymour played a good game. unlucky that both teams have to settle on a tie. I, personally, think they should get rid of ties in high school soccer b/c they are not good for anything, and you don't have them in the post season so why have them in the regular season. But good luck to both teams, South Doyle and Seymour, on the rest of the season.

i think you give those two players more credit than is due. they are good. but not as good as people say they are. they were shut down in the SD game.

nednatterjack, why do you think maryville should be in the rankings if your talking about south doyle not playing anyone. who does maryville play? south doyle played west and lost in the preseason to a hand-ball goal without two of their offensive starters. south doyle handed a beating to maryville. and had a lone loss to farragut early in the season. farragut players were saying that the game should have been 1-1 or 1-0 farragut. so the score doesnt reflect the game. terrible calls. south doyle has bearden coming up soon and that game should be a great game. but maryville hasnt played that high of teams either. you are right we dont have a tough schedule but we tried to schedule teams like catholic and cak and webb.

yea your right. Bearden does have their own field... but i think you have it wrong when you say they play soccer on it. all they do is play kickball. so they built a short but wide field. real smart. but they dont play soccer, they play kickball.

Bearden got so lucky!
