I would have to to say they were true ball players because they were the starters before their injuries. I think they averaged around 20 to 30 pts a game between the two. I am proud of the other girls that stepped up and filled their roles. It just took till state to get it all together!!

TN Xtreme 2008 13u State Champs! Thanks to all the coaches, parents and fans! This was a GREAT tournament. Team Pride did a great job of hosting the tournament! EVerybody played hard all weekend!! All teams were class acts!! Good Luck to all Tennessee Teams at the Nationals!! Tennessee will be represented well!!!

I was not there at all but I have to give my two cents on the fact that MJ left the trophy behind! NO CLASS and that is bottom line there is no excuse for anyone to act that way and if they are such a GREAT team and deserved to win then they should have never let it get to a tie breaker and it they wouldn't have to worry about getting second place. Sounds like to me the better team won that day!!

Does anyone know anything about the Tournament of Champions that is being held in Knoxville the same weekend as the Miracle Classic?? Which one will have more teams??

I am not begging for a State Championship. If we get one great if not it okay too! We have ONE most girls and boys go their whole lifetime with NONE! Oh and my daughter has 3 state championships (different sports) ! So I am okay with that. The team that plays the best at state will be the Champion and I will congratulate them!! So I don't have to beg!

I did not put words in your mouth. Sorry if you felt that way. No need to get hateful! My statements are facts! And in order to qualify for scholarships you have to have a finacial need. It is need based funding. They also have to have very good grades to even get into the school and maintain them to recieve their monies! So everybody does't not qualify for scholarships. And you say you know 2 girls that get full rides well there are 15 girls on the team and last time I checked 2 girls could not play the game of softball by themselves. I am sorry if you think I dont have my facts straight but I know exactly what I am talking about. If you were not hating then why even post anything about the scholarship thing? Ooltewah has a great team and so does GPS. not to mention Ooltewah has a great school (I know cause I went there!) Oh I have no chip on my shoulder at all!

For your information the majority of the girls on the GPS softball team pay FULL tution not to mention Ooltewah has three times the number of students in their school!!! So how do they struggle? They have a bigger pool to choice from!! GPS has only played Ooltewah one time in a real game!!! the other two were scrimmages and GPS won one game and Ooltewah won the other!!! Oh and when they played Ooltewah two of their seniors where injured!! So give me a break and if you don't know facts then don't post!! But not that I am making excuses they should have won!! What travel ball team does she play for? And what age group? Cause I am guessing if she is in 8th grade ahe probably played 12u or 14u last year??

In the 13u Finals the Xtreme beat the Club Fury 75 to 50 Semi Final the Xtreme beat the Tampa Bay Phoneix by +10 (can't remamber exact score) In the 12u Finals the Xtreme Red beat the Peak Performance Elite by 9

New schedule will not be out till this evening. The coach running tournament says that he wants to make sure all teams are still playing before he gets that together. This is one tournament that I wish would go to Sunday just cause we need to play some ball since it rained the last one out.

All Fridays games have been canceled and they will play tomorrow with one pool play game and single elimination

It was a great game but there were some injuries. Does anyone know how the girls who were hurt are???
