Possibly, but I think any bookeeper in the world would say that there needs to be a paper trail left of all transactions even if it goes from left pocket to right pocket...The ethical thing todo would have been to cut him a check for services rendered, and a bill for tuition and let it get settled that way....Should be interesting to see what happens though...To me it looks like Skogen is distancing himself from the situation, his quotes were right the point"

I think you may be in denial.....The article was just talking about the Skogen allegations and "others" could the others being looked into possibly be: 1. Larson showing up 2. Ridley showing up 3. Newsome showing up 4. Sexton and Andrews showing up from Ooltewah middle i believe 5. the kids from CSAS practicing spring football Just a few to take a look at and show how they just happened to "show up"

The Times Free Press article talked about Larson who I believe played basketball as well. If infractions were found with him would the punishment be in football as well as any other sports he played?

I hear that there is a storm brewing up in Nashville, and will be headed to Highland Park in the near future.

Maybe they were pressured by the TSSAA on this, and this is just the first piece of the empire to fall?

After seeing some of the tournaments early in this years AAU season, I have come up with this thought of whether some of the Coaches understand that AAU basketball is about the kids and not themselves. My obeservations are as follows: 1. Coaches constantly arguing with the refs during the games, and complaining about every call made...This is a Summer league coaches, understand that the Underpaid refs arent going to get every call right, and from the tournaments ive seen the same ref crew of 2 has worked every game for the day.....Any coaches getting technicals and getting thrown out of games should be unacceptable, and should warrant a fine in someway....Coaches should be rolemodels to these kids 2. I saw two coaches start arguing with each other during a game, and they met each other at halfcourt to continue arguing about who knows what, only to have the refs stop the game and give them both a Technical... Now I have seen some good coaches out there, but they are in the minority....Coaches please actually do some coaching and let the kids put on the show.....
