Its funny that this occured monday and we just heard about it. Furthermore from what I know alot of what was in the paper was a lie. Incident occured while the game was still in progress and gym had to be cleared so game could be finished. Nasty incident. Why was it covered up so much? Does tssaa know what really happened? No. They have been lied to or death penalty would have been enforced. PS WHY ALL THE COVERUP.

Central has a beast of their own by the name of Massengill who is just a freshman. Can't wait to see these two match up it could be a slobber-knocker.

All the tallent in the world? You have been watching a different Central team than I have. No disrespect intended, but this is the worst Central team I have seen in the last 15 years. The teams in 5aa are lucky the district changed this year because 5aa's 1 seed would be about 5th or 6th this year.

Doesn't anyone have any thoughts. I haven't gotten to watch any games this year. With the new/old district it should be competitive again.

How does 5aa look this year and who is the favorite?

I know everyone wants to get a gold ball, but the way everyone thinks is that the better teams are in the higher classifications. Personally I think Alcoa is one of the best 3 or 4 teams in the state with the way they played Maryville the #2 team in 6a. Now to the sad truth, if Alcoa wants to be considered the best team in the state they need to play up. Obviously they aren't going to win as many gold balls but atleast they will be competing with teams of their on caliber and they will know how good they actually are. Maryville has been facing this question for years and chose not to move up thus we will never know if they were the best in the state. This is in no way a slam on these teams because you do what you think is best for your team. As far as MUS or MBA or any of the private schools, you have huge advantages over most public schools with what you offer and im not talking about education wise because i have seen the "recruiting process" first hand.

Tennesseesporsfan, you say take central out of the equation just like football and none of them are very good. Let me ask you just exactly how far did central go in football. Just as far as Polk 1 and done. That was the team that had a chance to win it all right.

Can't say I love Central, but as a tribute to these girls I will say that they are one of the few teams that we play where I watch the whole girls game. Girls as I'm sure you already know you can play and are fun to watch. I hope you all do well in college. However as a supporter of another school I'm glad to see you go. I know this sounds stupid, but since Westview beat madison by an avg. of 16 points and Livingston beat Westview by 4, then Livingston could probably beat Madison by 20. Clarkrange beat Livingston by 19 so I predict Clarkrange to win by 2. But I guess thats why you play the games. Unfortunately it could get embarressing.

Morgan is a good coach. Can anyone name a Meigs county native that would be going by the name Raider 2. It should be raider gone! Perhaps the recruiting will be better next year. I heard that EL Baker might have a player worth looking at.
