Not hardly. I had a travel day yesterday and didnt post near as much. You guys got a brief break. But thanks for having the interest in my thread. You east TN guys are fun, albeit predictable...but in a lot of ways, that is what makes it fun.

There is another Maryville thread where I extol Ensworth's superior football team. The only reason I did that was to provide an example of what it looks like when some Maryville posters go into other non Maryville threads and talk up Maryville. I would think the only issue 7AAA really has with Ensworth is the occasional poaching of some really talented players. But heck, even Mount Pleasant has that complaint. And while I am sure I may have let a name or two slip, if you read back through the posts and threads I have been involved with, you will see me called everything under the sun, but almost no name calling on my part. I have even had threats and challenges to meet. I find it all very funny and the final response of those at the end of their ability.

Well, that certainly definitively settles it. There is no higher authority than a locally supported news outlet to make determinations for all of high school football. I wonder if someone in Murfreesboro will see this and writes their own article in a local paper? Or perhaps a West Tennessee paper? Maybe just a Letter to the Editor will suffice? Too bad you broke their infringement policy to put this up here. We can start a whole new argument with you guys since so many have said you guys break the rules and all that, right? Thanks for that example. The thread lives and the Ring Master continues to direct the circus. I really had hoped we could have gotten more than just a few east TN acts involved. This is an odd post and I'm not sure why you feel the need to come to Hogan's defense since no one attacked him. However, since I am in a pot stirring mood lately, you have either forgotten or not paid attention too well in the goings on at Franklin. There were some mutterings and backstabbing issues with a previous coach that got a lot of negatives put out there about your hero. Seems like there was a player issue too. None of it means a hill of beans to most of us, just don't set anyone on a pedestal when you are uninformed. Franklin is improved, but not "back." A fairly easy schedule has them looking better in a district that appears to be down overall. They should go a couple of rounds, but I don't see much more than that for them.

Are you kidding? I make a thread that goes 25 pages in 3 days and gets folks all worked up, especially east TN guys, in a circular argument. And I did it with a thread that was titled so everyone would know that its was simply a good natured trap, and yet they fell for it and went after it in a serious way? So you are leaving the door open for 7AAA based on this? If a 7AAA team, say Oakland, makes it to the title game, that would put 7AAA on top because of the strength of schedule and success, is that a fair synopsis of your post?

Currently, the front runner for strongest district is 16AAA, having the highest regular season win percentage for this season and having the two time state title game appearing team, and current reigning state champ. Are we ready to declare 16AAA as the new SEC of Tennessee high school football?

It is about time for me to head down that way again. Destin would be a nice change from my usual spots is Boca and West Palm.
