It is an honor that the people who do the polls, recognize clarkrange,upperman, and jackson co. as being in the elite of our state. It is very hard to accomplish, and a credit to the schools, parents, teachers, coaches, and the young ladies themselves. It will all be settled in a few weeks.

Go look in your biggest mirrow, and you will get a pretty good idea. The JC people have said that CR deserved to win on this nite, and I know you like to jump in on the JC loss. You just get all you can out of it. The best kept secret this year in most media papers, and etc. is the JC lady blue devils. They had not played together as a team before, and there has been some growing pains. They are all coming together rather fast now, beginning to believe they may be much better, than they even expected. They have the talent and when they get it all together, someone is going to get squashed. I have great respect for Clarkrange, but the reason people are coming from everywhere to see this game, is to see who is going to win. Two great teams. It is who plays defense, and can put the ball through the net that night. That will be the winner. They can't double up on defense, two many great players. What if you knew a player that during the 8th and 9th seasons scored 90% of their points or maybe more from rebounds,steals, blocks, recoveries, and free throws.. And in the 10th and 11th years probably 80% and had over 500 points average per year. That is a great accomplishment. There is such a player.

The final score 49-21. The goal is to shut laken down or get her in foul trouble. They had one ref. that called two on laken that were wrong. What rbs did not plan on is the improvement of the jc team as a whole. Jim Brown always has a team that peaks near tour. time. Laken is aware that it takes everyone playing together to acheive success. I talked to her last nite and she was very happy with her team mates play. Jim knows how to build a team, Larry White knows how to get the least out of his players. Thus the difference in the score.

Gatorbill I want to congratulate upperman for the win Tues. nite. A great defensive game on the part of both teams. I notice that the bees are no. 1 in some polls in 7AA. Another great honor. I am real happy with the way JC is playing. Some may forget we did lose 5 seniors no excuse. But it is taking time to replace two of the best ball handlers that I have see in years, in misti and courtney. Real happy with the year so far, thank goodness we don't have to play you again this year. The best team usually shows up in the 4th quarter. You all sure did that. There is nothing wrong in asking about Laken's record or how they came about. If you are going back, she was also all conference her 8th year, and all freshmen. I also agree that this is amazing, and under difficult situations. They also went to the final four (rbs) in the state that year. She did not want to leave RBS, and that is enough said. She did change to JC, all above board, and is very very happy there, and glad she did. The gold ball was a bonus.

No she is not the 6'8" girl. That is kaci Farris of Smith County. Kaci and her team are doing good this year. I do not know how many rebounds Laken has. Yes she feels her strenght and good fortunes are because she is close to her Savior.

I want to congratulate CR for their victory over Livingston. For their upholding of 7a tradition, thier school, and their supporters. Great job.

Gatorbill I want to ad my congratulations to Lashay and upperman. A great accomplishment by her, her family, the school and everyone there. This builds up upperman, 7aa, and helps this district or area to be part of the states best. Everyone should celebrate this with Lashay.

Laken recorded her 2000th point xmas week. This is quite an acheivement, for anyone and we who know her, know she puts her SAVIOR always first, and appreciates the people she has been associated with. I know she would be the first to say she could not have done this without the outstanding girls she has played with. Laken Leonard junior Jackson County blue devils.

I also want to give may congrats to the lady devils. It is a good feeling that many thought this would be a down year, and having to rebuild the team that it is even more a great accomplishment. I made the statement before that jc has talent, and being around those 5 seniors that graduated last year was and is a plus. Go lady blue devils.

Sports like life has its problems. But for the young people who play the games, most will remember the great experiences they had the rest of their life. I agree that the people on here for the most part are well informed. Thanks for the enjoyment we receive from sports, and the rare injurys, that occur and at this time as a nation founded on the belief of a creator, I do not apoligize for the celebration of this special time of the year. We appreciate this year 2008, with all the inperfections, and look forward to 2009. As a jc fan, I congradulate Riverdale. A well played game, down to the end. We are getting better each game. I thought the teams, the crowd, and the refs made for a good tournament so for. It was a good game overall. We got tied up in traffic, and were late getting there. We could find seats only in an area of nearly all cr people. I had on my jc shirt and cap, and didn't know how it would go over. But the cr people were great, enjoyed being with them, and hope that we can extend the hospitality when they come to jc. I don't like losing, but we are coming around, after losing 5 seniors. Good try jc, and good luck to cr when you are not playing jc. It reaferms my hope in people. It was a good game overall. gator good to hear from you. you better believe these teams want to win thats why they are good ball teams. If we play like we did against cookev. we will be in there with you. I guess there might be some luck in the two three pointers, but Jessica is an excellent 3 point shooter. She also is a player that can go as far as she is willing to work and strive. She can be one of the best. Congradulations to JC players and Coaches. To go into OS and snatch a victory is great. Anything can happen, but as long as the JC players believe in their selves and their team, the sky is the limit. Again way to go Lady Blue Devils. Let me say this is none of my business. I went to school there and have nothing to do with RBS. I get a little upset when I see you all take up for the Lady Bulldogs program. You said that two freshmen quit that it would not matter that was all. I meant to correct you that you in just the last two years have had about 8 or 9 that quit. They were not freshmen. It is not how many quit but why? I did not mean to offend you, I bow out. I just know of countless people in the last 30 years that have been hurt by this system. Good- Luck in the future.

basketball-your baseball is good and your volleyball and softball. Its not whether you win or lose but that your athletes get a good experience in sports. I'm going to cut this off everyone else in the area knows, if you all are happy with Larry White good.
