i am just as confused as everybody else... Where does Elizabethton fit in at? I have heard they are dropping down, and may play up.... if they drop who are they in a conference with? I would much rather it stay the way it is. DB and SSH needs to be playing teams that are on their level They will only be hurting themselves by playing in a reborn Big 9 etc...

gah all this trash talking is crazy guys.. some of you people need to grow up. who care who tied who in a scrimmage. everybody has there own thoughts about the school they pull for thats fine but guys is there any reason to go as far as some of you have? Will the Cyclones win? i hope so i am orange and black thru and thru but i am not going to put another school down in the process. is witten the right man for the job at ehs? i along with others will say yes he is, give him time and he will rebuild the program you can already see the improvement from his first year. Witten is a good young coach and will only get better as each year goes by. If the horns win friday night then they are the better team so let the game be played on the field not on here. So good luck to the horns. you do have a good team up there in mtn city. hope you bring your a game to betsy and its a good clean game. something i would like to know tho about atwood... did his daddy buy his way out of the dui? if he was in the city schools here he wouldnt have a job, so what does that say about your schools admin.? good luck to all friday night have a safe drive to etown and back home.

I think the defense can make the adjustments to stop JC offense. My only question is like i just said Betsy's O-Line if they fire off the line and hit somebody and open some holes for the running game Betsy wins by 3-10 points, If not they Loose by at least 2 TD. gah i hate going to jc they have no place to sit, we cant even take our band up there only a pep band can go...

Love watching people get all upset off over the small things in this crazy world.... maybe hampton could beat ehs i dont know that and you dont either... there is none of us that know that... only way to find out is to play it on the field... and we all know that aint going to happen.... neither school wants to play each other it would be nothing but fighting in the stands and on the field, because you would have to many rednecks that were drunk, think they know everything and are billy bad butts... im not saying hampton people either, both sides would be involved and this is ashame because this would be a great game to both play in and watch. but the world is full of ###### holes huh?

LOL you must have seen a different PLS than I did,,,, It was pretty much even from where i was sitting and who care anyway does PLS mean anything? NO Its just work for the kids to learn what they are suppose to do... GEZ I am glad Hampton won friday and I think they can go deep into the play-offs. I would love to see Eliz and Hampton play in football it would be a great game but it will never happen neither school wants to play each other. But i dont think Hampton could beat EHS this year it would be a very close game, the last few years id say they had a good shot at it and thats due to lack of coaching a attitudes on the team.

there is just not that much talent on the team, but if you have the desire and the heart to win sometimes that overcomes all the talent in the world. and that seems to what coach is drilling into them

I was at boone scrimmage to.....the o-line needs to learn how to block....... our defense well i dont know if we could stop TAD offense to be honest... maybe things will come together if not its going to be a long year

i been out of town last 2 weeks can you update on how we are looking.. scrimmage last thursday against austin east.. i think there is a scrimmage tomorrow against boone i may be wrong... update me please

my top 5 in east tennessee -- Just my thoughts on it 1. Ksport DB (Till somebody from here knocks them off have to go with them) 2. MTown East (Should be a very tough team to handle this year good both sides of the ball) 3. Sull. South (Lost a lot to graduation but phillips and good recievers return) 4. Tn. High (Good coaching and some good talent) 5. Science Hill (Always had the talent now they have a coach lets see what he does with it)

they will fine on defense i agree, i know they have really worked the line this week, we should see a improvement thursday down in knoxville. still a lot of work to be done, and we are a long way away from being a contender. there is a lot of good young talent on the team so we should see a lot of young kids playing this year. i will go out a limb and say if things come together like i think they will should end up 6-4 or 7-3. We really didnt look that bad in the scrimmage last week for the first scrimmage with a new coach. Folks lets get behind these CYCLONES and COACHES and give them our full support, the orange and black is a honor to wear and we will be back in time.

i will agree with betsy being the weakest team on the schedule, hey want the truth eliz want beat them this year besty will be going thru a rebuilding stage for 2-3 years. i am a cyclone fan so hey of course id love nothing better to upset the hill... but anything can happen on friday nights thats why we play the game right.. good luck im going to try to get together a big tail gate before the game if i do come on over and join us your welcome to

i was there and i didnt see 9 int thrown by the hampton qb, i saw 4, our qb threw maybe 2. overall we looked pretty good, timing is still off a little, receivers missed some they should have caught qb either overthrown or underthrown if when the rest of the guys report next week and they all can learn to play as a team we could have a pretty special year. i have seen a big difference in 2 weeks alone. there is alot of good looking young talent. hampton should be pretty strong this year if they get some breaks they will have a special year and should go deep in the playoffs unless they have alot of key people get hurt.

lol... is lucas birchfield playing qb? i know he is a freshman but i thought he would be better suited at WR

What are your expectations? Is the new coach bringing a new style of offense and defense? I am hearing some good things from workouts this week they seem to be hitting the ground running, the guys are in full support of the coaches, from what i am hearing we also have around 60-70 kids out this year. Just wondering what you folks have heard and what you think.
