The drag race went good my friend,East won a few drags,but they weren't able to race against the other drag race high team,fairview,because there car wasnt complete...The show gave them 2 more weeks to finish and there will be a rematch somewhere a little outside of sarasota florida... and i dont have the exact numbers for the Middle School question,but there will be a good amount,I know the East Middle School was very good,and they have about 3 or 4 8th grade Rb's,some bigger Oline 8th graders and their starting QB was also an 8th grader.... Im not quite sure on the numbers though.... good Luck to you guys next week vs Centerville,it should be a very close,physical, tough battle.

well we played a much better game defensively against SC,even though the score didnt reflect it because we hadnt punched the ball in the endzone yet,but they only had 130 yrds total on us and we never really gave up any big plays over 10 yards,except for like 1 play. I think you guys have a good chance but SC is a tough team...It should be a very good and interesting game.

I was actually the player that tackled him in the endzone,i apologized to him after..I had no idea i was in the endzone,i was covering up the WR and so him scramble out,i didnt realize where i was...But we talked after and everything was good!

Thanks,utvol2, dont worry we will..this team has so much heart and fight in us and we dont and will not give up,and we are surronded by a very good coaching staff.This team has a very bright future and i cant wait to see the success they will have for the next many years under a great coaching staff,i wish i could be there longer.I never would've thought i would say that about being in HS longer,but once HS Football is gone and HS is over then it comes down to real life with jobs and bills...lol....

I dont know where you're coming from with that.We had 2 Sr's in the game yesterday.One was the punter and the other plays QB/CB...If you're talking about what you saw at the Home Coming part,we had to use Juniors mostly to escort the cheerleaders,because their arent enough Sr's.

Yeah there were alot of Personal Fouls calls,on the field the refs told us they would call them or kick us out for any cursing or taunting..I know a few times there were some curses and even a ball thrown at the opponent after the play was over that triggered them,but yes there still were alot of PF's called for normal.

No offense to Adamsville one bit,but East has played some very good teams so far...through the 1st 4 games the opponents combined record is is 13-3.... Well,its our 1st ever HC game,and there will be alot of emotion Friday night.I,personally,cant wait! I hope its injury free and east gets their 1st W...

Yeah,the final score was 39-14...We stunk it up first half defensively...We had a few plays where got some turnovers,INT's,FR,but our offense stalled...The second half was much much better...We both scored once,but it was a well fought game,i hope everyone that was injured has a good recovery,and best of luck to Richland throughout the remainder of the season.

No,you're right... we've played very strong defensively,its the offensive TO's that have killed us so far.We held Stewart Co. to 136 total yards,but we had 2 plays where we had something go wrong offensively or special teams that allowed SC to start inside the 18 yd line,and they took advantage... We have to improve in areas like that if we want to win,and we are. I cant wait and im hoping for an excellent game and hopefully a east eagles win!

We have a great coaching staff,and they give us an excellent game plan each week and put us in great position to make plays,from there its up to us as players to follow through and we are a young team,but we wont use that as an excuse to separate ourselves from anyone else in TN HS Football.We as a team are improving each week,and i wish i could stay a few more years and flourish with the rest of the team,but i can not because i'm a senior,but the coaches here are excellent and they are definitely not accepting the season we are having,and arent giving us or anyone else the excuse of being a 1st year school.He expects nothing more than a win,and we as players do to. Thanks for the support deerhunter88,its very welcomed here and throughout the growing community here in East.

yes we aren't looking back now,whats done is done...It was a well fought defensive game well into the game.Our defense held up pretty strong i thought and SC really never had a established drive.We had a few plays where it resulted in SC getting the ball with a short field a head and they converted.We moved the ball throughout the game,but we werent able to punch it in.That will change and im hoping we take advantage of this very tough week of practice and make the best out of next Friday against Richland. actually theres only 2 seniors who get actual playing time...and start...taht would be #57 Jeremy Jackson, and #21 Lee Zeigler...

BTW,out of the RB's i think Jeremy Holt out of Lipscomb will be a huge suprise next year..he is a very good athlete with good strength...he has looks,hopefully he takes advantage of losing Matt Elrod and continues developing as a runner.I heard Vandy was in the picture for him...hearsay maybe

yeah they messed up Daniel's(White)...speaking of,i just transfered out of JOHS and he is a very good friend of mine..i wish he was taller,the kid is a great athlete and is benching in the mid to high 200's....if only he had more height he would be alot more recognized.

that font is just atrocious... BTW on Overton, i think they could very well end up in 2nd place in the region. ALot of young players will step it up,plus with Cole Patterson stepping at QB they will have a much more efficient and effective passing game this upcoming season,than the previous season under Jordan Hale.

i know this is off topic,but im new here but a "vet" to many football forums,but i had a few quick questions... I recently just moved from Nashville out into Centerville/Hickman County...I am zoned for East Hickman and i cant find a school webiste anywhere... anyways.. I didnt play a sport this past season because i had many home situations i had to take care of and was required to get a job to help support the family,but some luck hit my family and i was going in playing spring football at Overton..All spring i was starting at CB,and played sparingly at my best/fav position WR.I started at CB in the spring practice game vs Brentwood .I also played basketball my sophmore year at OHS.... ok im rambling now..lol I know im elligible for sports this year,but i just found out i was moving on the 18th...and ill be finished moving to Bon Aqua by the 24th of June. DO you think i could still play for EHS? would it be too late for me to come in,or is the whole team kind of being put together because of the new school... thanks for your time guys...just had a few quick questions...
