Sc did play pretty good defense the other day but come on. if u were at the game it was apparent that MC couldnt knock down a shot. so many shots rimmed in and out it wasnt even funny. also we (as in both teams) couldnt go down the floor without getting a foul calld on them. but it was a good game anyways. good luck in the tournement

last time i checkd batting in high school season is different then in travel ball. not tryin to start anything just givein my opinion. PS lets get back to talkin bout teams in OUR DISTRICT!

i kno this is kinda off subject but Central has two pitchers who have experience and both are very good pitchers. Blake Clayton proved he can pitch at a very high level last year. he didnt hit his true stride til late in the season. He also shut down a VERY good Harpeth team til the last out in the district tournement where harpeth came back and won with 2 outs. (great game last year too, it was one of the most hectic games ive ever been apart of). We also have Alec Mills who hasnt pitchd near as much as Clayton but still logged innings last year. Both will have to step up this season and lead a young and talented Central team.

Montgomery Central lost a lot of people from last year but i believe should be better then sum people think. we lost a lot of seniors last year 9 to be exact. One thing that will decide our season is our pitching. we lost alot of depth at pitcher but still have 2 or 3 guys that have seen varsity time in the past but other that that people have to step up. Even though we have lost a bunch of seniors we still have a bunch of guys that can step rite in a play. We also still have bout 4 positions that were filled by underclassmen from last year. should be a fun year.

I dont agree with the Montgomery Central comment. we were in every district game til the 4th quarter except for Fairview. We would have a stretch where we didnt play good and that wood lose the game for us.

"Fairview beat Montgomery Central handily at Fairview, I think they may surprise some people this year." Demarcus Greene (top scorer) and Trevor Moore (point guard) didnt play that nite for MC.

dude if u was there u would agree. man how am i bein biased. Anybody that knos basketball would tell u that in a tight game the refs need to swallow their whistles. The time all this happened, it was bout time to start foulin to get the ball back ( that happens in all close games). but when u r tryin to put them on the line but the refs callin an intentional foul on u, that is crazy.

yall all talk bout bad refs and stuff.... if yall wantd to see sum BAD refs yall shouldve seen the MC vs. east hickman game. 2 Techs and 2 Intentional Fouls Calls in the last 3 minutes of the game. 1 tech was on the kid for yellin at the ref, (he wasnt yellin at the refs he was yellin at his own players tryin to get them fired up). 1st intentional foul call happens with bout 2 minutes left, MC was down two. MC player goes for the ball just like any other play durin the game and he fouls the guy. They proceed to call an intentional foul on him. How do u justify callin an intentional foul with the game hangin in the balance. then coach young proceeds to ask for an explanation of the call. they tech him up too. without a explanation or anything. Now i kno Coach Young can get fired up everybody in this district knos that but the man simply wanted an explanation and the refs teched him up. now i dunno bout yall but for a team that is strugglein like MC is we need every break we could get in that game and for two calls like that IN A MAJOR PART OF THE GAME to be calld is bull. P.S. in the gurls game 1 of the referees busted his #### runnin down the court..... guess he was in a bad mood

Central lost another heartbreaker tonite to Cheatham Co 59-56 i believe. this is the third game in this long 6 game losing streak that Central was in the thick of the game, playing well, and then not pull the victory. We play hard for the whole game and then for a 3 or 4 minutes stretch we fall behind. The Houston Co., Waverly, and Cheatham games were all played against teams that we r just as good as if not better, we just have a lapse and that costs us the game. (that all isnt taken away from them teams they all r good teams). The thing that hurts the most about all this is we started 2-0 and got high expectations and now it has all gone down hill. These guys r tough tho, we will get it turned around. We just have to keep working our butts off at practice to turn this season around!

Montgomery Central lost tontie against Clarksville High 76-38. We Just didnt come ready to play. i gotta question for yall. has anybody ever heard of a technical foul on a "fake charge." ive never heard of this. all wat happend on the play was it wa a fast break the CHS player went up for a layup wit 1 central player under the basket. the central player set up for the charge but just got bumpd bak and didnt fall down. the referee calld a technical foul on the central player. this play happened when the game was far out of reach.

sorry im a lil late on the NW MC game. we lost 70 sumthin to 50 sumthin lol. the score was tainted because the put in the bench players when the game was out of reach. We were down by 3 at half but there speed and athleticism took over in the 3rd. Demarcus Greene has proven that he can be a force for this team. he scored 37 points in this game. He should battle for the district MVP this season. It all depends on how we do thru the district schedule.

Montgomery Central lost tonite to Houston County 60-53. Sloppy game on both sides. both teams didnt shoot the ball very well. Central got in foul trouble late. Free throws really hurt us tonite too. We also blew a 5 point lead with bout 4 or 5 minutes left in the 4th. Houston County shot well from the charity strip thats wat won it for them.

Wait just one second.... so your tellin me not to get excited over bein 2-0. Last time i checked a WIN WAS A WIN. y should i feel any different on beatin a team that didnt have 4 starters. All im tryin to do is put down how my team did last nite. why do u have a problem with me doin that. It sounds like to me that ur just mad cuz u lost to um and we didnt.

Montgomery Central won tonite 60-53 against Hickman County. Hard fought game on both sides. Central got up 18 by the half but Hickman fought back and bgot the game tied back up by the end of the 3rd. Central got back to playin sum defense and not firein up quick shots in the 4th and end up winning. Its great to be 2-0 after the last few years, hopefully it continues. Keep playin hard Central

Montgomery Central beat Jo Byrns 70-49. Was close but MC blew it open in the third. Jo Byrns had sum players out for football which hurt them. They also an injury or two. MC played very well tonite.

Montgomery Central played in the Clarksville Jamboree last night. we lost i believe 38-21 to Rossview. we had it down to 6 points before we lost a few starters to foul trouble. both teams seemed rusty.

SC people keep sayin that yall beat MC by 10 twice during the camp. Camp is a lot different then it is in real games. plus Central didnt have a few players because of baseball.

i dont believe Central has lost 25 games in a row. their last win was against Houston Co. at the begining of last season. by my math that is not 25 games

Montgomery Central did lose alot last year but i believe they still have enough to make a run next year. they return some pretty good Seniors and Juniors. They wont have as much pitching depth which means Clayton and Mills will have to log alot of innings. They will need sum people to step up with the bats next year too. They return Evans, Sharp, and Lafferty all who swung the bat well last year. One thing that should be the bright spot for this team is the defense.

wat is the predictions for next year. MC, CW, Harpeth, and Sycamore are all losein important players.
