  1. According to a source at the Halls Shopper it is because Helton had to leave practice this week and is in the hospital and had to have emergency surgery and likely will not be on the sideline, it being senior night and all. Let's all pray he is doing great.
  2. could go either way, mcmillan and company will need a better game than maryville.
  3. I stand corrected about Farragut last week if (ruse?) happens to see this, you were right and I was wrong. Central is again injury plauged and spiralling out of control. Top corner, safety, linebacker and both runningbacks injured and out. Tough year already for Central and may get worse. Halls is hungry and will be a tough game. I have no predictions. Good Luck to both teams. I did not see the Farragut game but I heard it was a slaughter fest and could have been worse.
  4. I will try to be civil but you are full of yourself and !. Centrals defense was as solid as I have seen a defense be and will play solid against Farragut and IMO keep sterling in check. Not only did J. Wilson have a couple of touchdowns called back as well as McMillan it's hard to win when you fumble several times and are getting the bad calls at home. Cookevilles last touchdown had 2 or 3 clips uncalled as well as a sideline infraction (Cookeville coaches and players 4 yards into the field of play with the runner going down the sideline) that a ref changed his mind on and called a celebration penalty. Central was also called for penalties that were bogus, you only need to see the film to know. Cookeville did play hungry and did not give up and I congratulate them for that..they did win (but) Central will improve and be at the top when all is said and done IMO. As far as the region being down time will tell but IMO has some of the best talent in the state and some of the best teams and as far the game Friday night well know about 10pm if weather permits.
  5. If Centrals OL comes together and gives McMillan time or opens holes for J. Wilson and the kicking game is vastly improved then Central will win out. The defense will be solid and better than expected. It's a wonderful time for the Bobcat nation on October 5, 2007 Maryville will go down in defeat. Central is on the prowl and they have a bunch of journeyman type players that love the game and have a desire to win and yes they can play the game and play it real good. Knox Central Maryville West Halls
  6. Centrals first game is against Cookeville and the sixth game is against Whites Creek. Does anyone know anything about these two teams besides where they are located?
  7. Central looks like this. QB-Strong as long as McMillan stays healthy, no proven backup. RB-Strong as long as J.Wilson stays healthy and gets good blocking, Excellent if Saah returns and can play full speed. Recievers-Strong with Styles, Courtney, W. McMillan and a few new kids who will come along fast. OL remains to be seen? DL should be strong it depends on who plays and who steps up the next few weeks. DE should be excellent with Wolfenbarger, Hanson, I would like to see Styles at DE but Central has some fast kids for this position LB it should be excellent if the right kids are played DB excellent with Bridges, McMillan, Allen and a couple more that are learning and growing quick No proven kicking game and special teams have been declining, Central will need to pick this up.
  8. How can you say Blair is all they had last year! J. Owens was as good as they get at LB and C. Jeffries was a monster and rarely ran into anyone that could stop him. Centrals problem was injuries at the wrong time but such is football.
  9. Who are Centrals db's and how well do you or anyone else think they will handle Maryville receivers this year.
  10. I have heard about QB's and Receivers for Central but what about their Linebackers who are they and how did they look or did they play Linebackers in the passing league?
  11. Thanks ruse?, what time is the game tonight and what happened to Alcoa? I thought they were in this or I could be wrong.
  12. How did the Bobcats do yesterday and who is in the championship game?
  13. Update on passing league and who will Central play next?
  14. Where is Central going to camp this year.
  15. How did Central do yesterday at Webb and who do they play next?
