Same ole same ole. It takes 3-4 years just to rebuild the Cyclones just in the strength department. Some of the backs was outliftin the linemen last season and the year before. That says alot! The linemen aint' mean they are softies. It takes time working with the young guys to change that thinkin. the QB is a pocket passer not a runner so how can u stay in the pocket and only have 3-4 secs and on top of that ur best WR don't want the ball if he's gona get hit. Your backs don't want to run inside (tween the tackles) cause they take a beatin. Ain't no cure but time but u can't throw it on the QBs shoulder. I gotta point to the line. Same story as last year and the year before. Everybody got all hyped up about 88 & 77 but they are no shows. Good luck to 10 & 80. Toughest dudes on the team! THE BADDEST!

What is not a joke is what Coach Witten said in the paper today. Learn to care for each other an d play as a team. That was missing last year by a certain few. Turn the corner Cyclones! This year follow your leader.

Dude, Dereks a good guy but nobodys runnin a 4.4 at Elizs camp unless its Fuqua and he might be gettin close. He'll run track in college I think.

If I remember right Fuqua and Peters was the fastest last year and Smith was right on their tails. Right? Carr was at least a tenth or more off Smith who was like a tenth off Fuqua. Justin probably runs a 4.45 U need to do some homework on ur run times. People know whats real. Sorry although i'm all Black and Orange I know times. I was there last year. I bet Phillips is like a 4.55 to 4.59 and dont get me wrong cause I like D Carr but hes not that fast.

Dude, Derek couldn't run a 4.4 if his life depended on it. Maybe tops at a 4.65. Probably a 4.7 Big maybe???? Price has no speed either. The Cyclones are in trouble except in the first game. Look for a possible 5-5 and consider it a turnaround. Get real! The line should be just a tad better but not much cause they cannot move so there won't be much run game. Give Witten sometime to get things going.

Strange world. Tear up two programs and get two of the schools biggest raises. Now it did get the school two good coaches and what a difference that would have made last season for basketball & football. Witten would have cleared the halls and the sidelines would have been full. Same with Street. Some good coaching and having players that would not play last season and maybe, just maybe last years numbers would have been turned around for both programs. The way I see it is it all lays on Pless & Wilson but you now have to give them some credit for the hires. You guys are downing Smith for football last year but he put it on the line last year and somebody needed to stand up for the boy. Cut him some slack cause last season dang sure was not his fault. He was lucky to get out alive. Basketball was even a bigger joke but there was some players. What do you all think?
